Freeman is another 2027 on the Rise team that played solid minutes in May and was a key contributor Omaha Westside’s state tournament team last March. The 5-6 shooting guard, Freeman scored 35 points in four games for Nebraska Attack 17U Rise in their tournament championship at Live at the Lakes, where she also teams with Westside teammates Elise Pedersen, Gueryn Kay and Kendyl Davis. She led the Warriors in scoring last March at 11.8 points, but also added 4.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest. Freeman is another under the radar 2027 player that could have a big impact at the small-college level.

Was a bright spot for the Attack in a tough Sunday close out game. Had to deal with waves of pressure in an up tempo game. She punched back by slipping free with tight handles, shaking off dogged defense. Which don’t give her much space, because she can pull from deep. Or sneak into mid-range and hit there. Has the look of a skilled lead guard, who can fill it up off the dribble.

Freeman is a Guard that can play on or off of the ball. She is an able passer, while being a stronger driver to the basket, along with a knock down three point shooter when she has time and space. One of her best abilities is her availability. She understands spacing and where the best location is to rotate offensively, giving her a clean look at the basket most of the time. If she continues to grow her game and stays confident in her ability, she will be someone we hear about quite a few times throughout the rest of her high school career.
