This camp was loaded with young talent. She showed off why she was selected to the All-Region 1 team as just an 8th grader. She has All-State selections in her near future. She is a straight bucket. Nelson's first step is very impressive and allows her to blow by most defenders. She was dominant during the 1-on-1 portion of camp. She displayed many creative ways of getting to the basket and finishing over other girls. She showed off her outside shooting once they got into 5-on-5. She can let it fly as soon as she crosses the half-line and has a super quick release. She was able to use her speed to get up the court and score in transition. I was really impressed with Piper.

Husar is one of the most intriguing prospects in the 2030 class. I think she has potential to be a Division 1 player if she turns into a 40% plus three-point shooter and averages 2-3 three-point makes a game. She has elite athleticism that was displayed with a fantastic track season. It seemed like every time I opened up X I was seeing Kadence break a new record or qualify for another event. She is super explosive, quick to jump and jump high, and fast. She was injured for part of last season and the Jaguars are eager to have her back at full strength. She is the real deal.

Phillips was one of the smaller girls at camp, but that didn't deter her from being effective with the ball. She is a crafty lefty who is very fast. She has a lot of room to grow physically and will look like a different player in the next 1-2 years. She has a great foundation with her skillset, her competitive nature, and her work ethic. She averaged 14 points per game last season for the Sentinels as just an eighth grader. She was elite at drawing fouls and getting to the free-throw line. She has some room to improve her shooting percentages, but I think she has the mindset to keep grinding. Cambree is a very nice player.

I was happy to see Hilary in person as I have only seen her on film. I was really impressed with her and surprised to see how quick she was. She seemed to get by any player she wanted and get to the basket. She was fearless attacking the rim and didn't shy away from playing older girls. She wasn't intimidated by the slightest of all of the other talented girls in the gym. She was a coachable athlete and eager to listen. She played with toughness and determination. She has a quick release with her shot and can shoot from deep. She is another athlete who is just scratching the surface of how good she is going to be.

This was the second week in a row that McCall showed out. She is going to have plenty of chances to play at the next level. She might be a bit shorter than other recruits on colleges lists, but I doubt there is a girl at the guard position that will play harder or compete as well as McCall. She has the look of someone who just wants to win and will do whatever it takes to accomplish her goals. She has incredible vision with the ball and is really good in transition. It was fun to watch her dominate the 3-on-3 with her decision making. Garrison has an absolute stud in [player_tooltip player_id='1104745' first='McCall' last='Chase'].

Avery was one of the youngest campers and stood out to me with her impressive frame. She is already 5'9 and looks like a complete athlete. She is likely to grow and get stronger because she is just a 2031. Her athletic ability already makes me think she could be a terrific player at the next level. She moves well laterally and is a good jumper. She will be able to defend multiple positions and should be a really effective rebounder. Avery is someone who could become a big time recruit.

This camp was loaded with young talent. Many of these girls have very high ceilings - we will have to see how they grow and mature to determine which level will fit them best.
