She is a fantastic athlete who can score whenever she wants. She plays with an edge that only a true competitor possesses. She is a great defender in addition to her scoring ability. She can defend smaller girls and battle with posts due to her strength. She is one of the premiere shooters in the area and knocks down shots when her team needs it most. She hit a three-pointer with under a minute left in the game to give her team the lead and eventually win.

Serfoss is one of the more intriguing prospects in the state. Standing next to her this weekend leads me to think she is closer to the 5'10-5'11 range. Her lengthy arms are a defensive coach's dream. She can disrupt passing lanes and provide great ball-pressure without getting blown by. She is a terrific athlete and has the frame that college coaches look for in a guard. She must have been injured for most of the season in 2025-2026 because she only played in 10 games. This must have been a critical blow to Jamestown's post season hopes. She looks healthy now and ready to contribute. Look for the Blue Jays to soar to more wins next season.

Vanessa's frame and athletic ability are what has her in the top 10 of the 2029 class with room to move up with continued improvement. She runs super well and is able to put pressure in transition with her effort up the court. She has a nice looking shot with a quick release. She is going to have to continue working on her efficiency from deep but she has the mechanics of a quality shooter. She will begin getting a lot of attention if she starts to light it up from behind the arc. Borr looks the part of a Division 1 wing. She played the part last weekend.

Alli was the most dominant post I saw at The Jesse. It is almost hard to describe how strong she is around the basket. She is nearly impossible to stop from either getting a layup or drawing a foul once she establishes position. She likely gets fouled every possession, even if it doesn't get called. She is a total warrior around the rim. She is an excellent rebounder, both offensively and defensively. She will need to put a few combo moves into her toolbox as she grows through her career so that she is able to score on girls just as strong and girls with height advantages at the next level.

Haug continues to impress me. I wish Division 1 coaches weren't so rigid in their criteria for height in a guard. Kenley might not be the 5'10-5'11 guard that D1's typically look for, but she is one I definitely think they need to take a chance on. She is incredibly skilled when creating her own shot, can handle pressure, and is showing an improvement in her outside shooting. I predict Kenley having her best shooting percentage of her high school career this season. Once that happens, then I think the offers will come in. She made play after play at The Jesse. She ran in transition and hit multiple three-pointers. Once she hit some outside shots, she did a great job at attacking long closeouts and finishing at the basket. She was particularly good at finishing on the left side of the basket.

Macey is an absolute stud. She was unbelievable and clearly one of the best players at the tournament. She had multiple finishes in transition, hit a ton of threes (plenty from deep behind the arc), and fantastic distributing the ball in the open court. She hit teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1057798' first='Kenley' last='Haug'] for a ton of easy looks. She battled in the post and held her own against some really strong opponents. Her strength is really good for a 2029 guard. She played with an elite level of effort, chasing down long rebounds, battling with others around the hoop, and flying around to earn extra possessions. Macey is a top prospect in the North Dakota.

I'm not sure people appreciate how good of a player Grace is. Bismarck plays a system where typically there isn't a ton of standout scorers, but a bunch of scorers capable of going off at any given time. Grace possesses great scoring ability and played awesome all weekend. She had a ton of great hesitation moves that created scoring opportunities for herself. When she drew secondary defenders she was able to find her teammates for open looks. She dominated in transition just by sprinting the floor. She had multiple layups due to her effort running the court.

Evie played as well as I have ever seen her play. She looked like a guard that could play in the Northern Sun. She is a very strong guard and has the physical attributes to play at that level. She defended posts against bigger teams who couldn't find position because of how strong she is. She was amazing using the ball screen. She hit shot after shot coming off ball screens in the mid-range due to opponents being in drop coverage. Once they stepped up to stop Evie, she hit the roller with a perfect pocket-pass for a layup. Her decision making in the ball screen was elite.

This rounds out my coverage of "The Jesse" AAU Tournament. These girls stood above the rest.
