She shot just a shade under 43% from three in 2025-2026. She impressed me in person last weekend with her quick release. She has a very nice looking shot and is able to line up and make shots without any hesitation. The lefty knocked down multiple threes throughout the tournament and made her Impact team very difficult to defend. She is part of a talented AAU team that played super well together.

Alexa is a fellow Patriot playing alongside Lakyn on their Impact AAU team. It is always fun to play summer hoops with your high school teammates. Playing with a teammate on an AAU team can bring chemistry to the high school season, both on the floor and off the floor. Alexa played limited minutes last season for Century's varsity but will be itching to earn some more next year. Last weekend she hit multiple three-pointers and showed her range. She has strong legs and hustled after loose balls to retain possessions. She plays like a typical Patriot player: tough and gritty.

This is my second week in a row watching Jessa ball out. She makes a ton of positive plays for her team and it doesn't always have to be from scoring the ball. She hustles after loose balls, plays great defense, and brings an edge to the court. She is a great competitor and brings the energy. She was great at attacking the basket and extending the defense with her three-point shooting. I was also impressed with her 'second-cut' after a primary drive for an easy basket.

Reagan was able to knock down shots throughout her team's games. She has an opportunity next season to step into a bigger role on a South-Prairie Max squad eager to make it back to the State Tournament. Some key players graduate from last season's squad and Reagan is likely to step forward and fill the void. She is a lefty, which is an advantage in high school basketball. She has a soft touch and smooth shot and looked like a nice player when I watched her play.

Once again Carpenter makes her presence known from behind the arc. I watched their first game of the weekend and I believe she knocked down 4 three-pointers in the first half and 6 total in the game. She was making them from everywhere: corner, slot, wing, and even 3-4 feet from behind the three-point line. She has a quick release with good rotation and nice arc. She was the best shooter I saw this weekend.

Lizzy had a nice weekend competing at "The Jesse." She is a tough-nosed guard from [program_tooltip program_id='712656' first='Mandan' last=''], a team with high aspirations for 2027. Milne played in all 27 games this previous season and is looking to up her production next year. It looks like she is taking the steps to secure a quality role on a very good team. She plays very hard and is active defensively. She deflected multiple passes and chased down multiple girls in transition and forced turnovers. She was really tough going to her left and getting to the basket, drawing multiple fouls and netting her free-throws. She has good lift in her shot and knocked down multiple threes throughout the tournament.

There were a lot of girls who could shoot it at "The Jesse." These are the ones who stood out.
