Ella has potential to find herself on the All-EDC team next season as a freshman. She has all of the tools to be a multi-year All-EDC selection. She is one of the more skilled players in the 2030 class and is able to perform multiple moves to get to her scoring spots. She is crafty with her footwork which allows her to slip past defenders to the basket. She had a solid first year of varsity play last season and is one of Sheyenne's top returning players. She is a hardworking athlete and very coachable. I predict big things in the future for Froning.

Schaefer once again was impressive. She is very quick laterally and an excellent on-ball defender. It is very difficult for opponents to get past AryAnna and to the basket. She cuts them off with her quickness and does a good job of utilizing her longer arms. She looks like she is still going to grow, which is exciting because of how good her fundamentals are. She has the base skills to become increasingly better each year she grows. Her quick shot and ability to knock down outside shots is what will stick out to most coaches. Don't let that take away from her tough defense. She is a true two-way player.

Macey has a chance to be very good. She just might find herself getting high level Division 2 offers or even a Division 1 offer in her future. She has the foundation to be exceptional and continues to impress. Her strength as a 2029 is really good for a guard. She competes defensively and is able to battle bigger girls in the post because of how strong she is. She is a great playmaker in transition and makes great decisions with the ball. College coaches look for players that can shoot the ball at a high clip. Macey has that down early. It is going to be scary how good she can be if she keeps finding time in the gym to work on her game.

Becca was one of the smaller guards at camp but played bigger than her 5'3 listed height. She wasn't afraid to attack the basket and was able to read secondary defenders and make the right decision on whether to shoot or pass. She was part of an extremely talented Century team and got into a handful of games as a freshman. This feat alone is impressive to me because most of Century's top players are younger players. Becca earning a spot on the varsity roster tells me that this girl can play.

Janich was once again another fun player to watch this weekend. This was my second opportunity to see her live and she was just as good as the first time. She was one of the best athletes at camp. Her explosiveness is incredible and she is able to just blow by defenders in transition and in the half-court. She is nearly impossible to stop once she decides she is going to get downhill and to the basket. Jalynn also has a nice shot to compliment her driving game. Her skillset is very good for a younger player and I expect big things in her future.
