SC Live: Upperclassmen That Led Their Teams

The biggest event for the summer took place this past weekend with many of the top teams across the state competing at the SC Live. Amelia will be a great addition with her quickness on defense and her explosive first step to attack the rim. She showed that she is poised with the ball in her hands by controlling the offense and the tempo. Delly had a nice one-handed scoop lay in that showed her finesse and athleticism. She plays with a lot of confidence on both sides of the court. Her bread and butter has been her defense and she is making an impact by harassing ball handlers. She was picking up in the back court and making the opposing team very uncomfortable. She also did a great job of running the floor on fast breaks to get a couple of easy buckets. Aubrey is best with the ball in her hands being the playmaker. She is able to create her own shot getting to the rim or by using a floater. She got out in the passing lanes and created steals for her team that led to transition points. She has a knack for being able to do that and making it look easy. Trinity has showed a lot of versatility in her game as of late. There have been times she has even brought the ball up the court for a few seconds until her team got settled on offense. She has been dominating on the glass. Defensively, she does a good job of rebounding and getting quick outlets to her point guard.
