The South Carolina Basketball Coaches Association (SCBCA) recently held its annual live period event at the Riverview Park Activities Center in North Augusta. In addition, many of the same teams that were on hand at Riverview Park will be finishing their June schedules at the University of South Carolina as they take part in Dawn Staley's team camp.

It is also an active time for transfers considering June is the first full month apart from the academic calendar. Here is our latest transfer update.

The Patriots of 5A J.L. Mann already took a hit with the graduation of five seniors – including two of its leading scorers from last season's team. Hailstock was J.L. Mann's leading bucket-getter from its 2025-26 version and she is bringing her many hoops talents to 4A Westside for her senior season. Her most recent offer was courtesy of Augusta back in April. She is playing her final grassroots season with FBC United and is set to resume travel play next month in Louisville. Hailstock is joining a Rams team that has claimed back-to-back 4A Upper State championships. She averaged 17.8 points in the 21 contests she played last season as a Patriot.

Speaking of the Patriots, Glenn played her middle school ball at Fisher MS which is a feeder school for J.L. Mann. Instead of sporting the red and Carolina blue of the Patriots, Glenn has decided to bring her talents to Legacy Early College. The Lions are set to join the South Carolina High School League (SCHSL) this season and will compete in the 3A classification – Region 2-AAA to be exact. The Lions were one of the many teams on hand at this past weekend's Live event at Riverview Park and Glenn is set to rejoin FBC Youngunz 14U to finish the 2026 travel season.

Fulton earned a roster spot with Blythewood last season as an eighth grader and was a key factor in the Bengals repeating as 5A Division 1 state champions. In addition to Blythewood graduating its big three, Fulton is now sporting purple and silver of Ridge View – which is a region rival of Blythewood. Fulton has played up in class with AEBL on its 15U EYBL team and had a previous stint with [program_tooltip program_id='1238252' first='Twelve' last='Time']. She would compete in all 29 contests last season in a Bengals uniform while averaging 9.4 points per game. Fulton played her middle school ball at Muller Road MS.

Stadler has played at the varsity level since she was a seventh grader. Stadler played in all 22 contests last season for a Lions team that concluded its 2025-26 season with a record of 15-7. She averaged 7.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. Stadler also played her seventh-grade season with Fountain Inn. Prior to the start of the 2025-26 season, it was announced that Stadler would be playing her 2026 AAU season with Carolina All In – a New Balance team.

To say that Fairfield Central had a down season in 2025-26 would be an understatement as the Griffins only won five games last season (two against York Prep). Two things may improve Fairfield Central's fortunes – the move to 1A and the transfer of a pair of sisters from 4A Richland Northeast. Belk is that transfer and she would compete in 23 games last season for the Cavaliers. She would average 9.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 2.2 assists per game. She was one of only two from the class of 2030 that earned roster spots on last season's Richland Northeast team.

Belk is also making the move from 4A Richland Northeast to a Fairfield Central team moving from 2A to 1A. She would also play in 23 of the Cavaliers' 24 contests throughout its 2025-26 campaign. Belk averaged 6.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.1 steals per contest last season. Belk was also Richland Northeast's leader in field goal percentage throughout 2025-26 and was the other of those two 2030s from last season's Cavaliers roster. Considering last season's Griffins team was not exactly an offensive juggernaut, one can expect for both Belks to find solid footing at Fairfield Central and put the “win” back in Winnsboro.

Johnson's eighth grade season would be played at the varsity level with a Lucy Beckham team moving from 5A to 4A. Her grassroots career has included a stint with [program_tooltip program_id='988463' first='Mosch' last='Ball'] which is one of the premier travel programs in the Lowcountry. Johnson would play in 22 games last season and averaged 6.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest for a team that has earned a playoff victory each of the last three seasons. She joins a Landsharks team coached by Mandy Harrison that has qualified in back-to-back seasons for the 3A Lower State championship game.

McCaskill's high school varsity experience dates back to when she attended middle school. She has lately been one of the key pieces powering the success of a top-tier 2A program in Lake Marion and has brought her talents to another program moving to the 2A ranks. McCaskill's Orangeburg-Wilkinson team was among the many squads that were on hand this past weekend at the SCBCA Live event at North Augusta's Riverview Park. McCaskill competed in 26 contests last season for a Gators team that concluded last season with a 20-9 record. She joins a Bruins team that finished second in its region last season only behind Oceanside Collegiate.

One of the many positive stories of the 2025-26 season was the regular season turnaround of 1A Lewisville from seven wins two years ago to 16. Culp was one of the catalysts behind the Lions' turnaround and will look to keep the winning ways going at 5A Rock Hill. Culp was the only eighth grader that was on last season's Lewisville roster and played in 24 of the Lions' 25 contests last season. A playmaker on both ends of the floor, she averaged 10 points, five steals and 3.4 rebounds per contest. Bearcats coach Kenny Orr adds Culp to a team that finished its 2025-26 season with a record of 18-9 and graduated five seniors (including one of its team co-captains) from last year.
