I was able to attend "The Jesse" last weekend and got eyes on plenty of talented girls. These post players were outstanding and are setting themselves up nicely for the remainder of the AAU season.

I was visiting with a NSIC coach while watching Schilla play and this coach immediately asked about her. The coach commented that sometimes a kid just 'looks the part.' Kinley certainly looks the part standing at an athletic 6'2. She has potential written all over her. She moves well up and down the court and has strength and athleticism that could translate well to the next level. She is already a serviceable defender and rebounder. Her effort to fight for defensive positioning was great. She is a project on the offensive end but could end up being an incredible recruit with committed effort to that part of her game.

Ava is going to be a stock-riser come next rankings release. She is taller than her listed height and should be listed around the 6'3 range. She is another athlete who 'looks the part.' Erhardt impressed me from the get-go. She battled with opponents around the basket and was great at finding offensive positioning. She has nice hands and was able to catch passes and keep the ball high. She was able to seal defenders up the lane and create scoring lanes for her teammates. Center-Stanton struggled to find wins in 25-26 and Ava is hoping to change course next season. Having her anchor the team is something that many coaches would love to have in a returning player.

Zoe is another future 'stock-riser' in the next release. I knew she looked good from film but seeing her play in person solidified her in my eyes as a college prospect. I think NSIC schools should look really hard at Zoe. She was matched up one game against a team that had four forwards/posts (each with multiple D2 offers) that match up to Zoe's size and Zoe took care of them handedly. She was very difficult to score over, hard to gain position defensively, and she was able to beat them up the floor in transition repeatedly. She has good hands and caught passes in traffic that she was able to put in the basket with a soft touch. She knocked down multiple mid-range jumpshots as well. Zoe was a top talent this weekend.

This was my second opportunity to watch Martell in person. I think she will have an opportunity for a lot of minutes next season if she keeps continuing to improve. She moves well for a forward and plays with an edge I can appreciate. Her effort is excellent and I think she will be a key role player on a Century team that will have State Championship aspirations. I get the vibe from Bella that she just wants to help her team win. She isn't afraid to do the little-things on the court and fight for possessions for her team. She doesn't need to score to positively affect an outcome, a great compliment for a player.

Gust plays with a ton of guts on the floor. Her AAU coach can look Addyson in the eyes and be met with a determined look of someone ready to go to battle for her teammates. Addyson was one of the hardest playing athletes this weekend. While she is listed as a shooting guard, she was tasked with battling with one of the best posts in the state. She held her own and was able to jump passing lanes and create turnovers. She fit in well offensively and let the game come to her. She knocked down a key three with no hesitation that helped fuel a comeback win.

Lexi has multiple NSIC offers and has an incredible ceiling as a prospect. She has very strong shoulders and legs for a high school player. Her frame is already impressive and will be very valuable for the next level. She is already able to dominate the high school level and will be incredible difficult to stop at the next level if she continues gaining strength. Lexi is tough from the mid-post because of how athletic she is. She can take slower posts off the bounce and bully smaller defenders to the basket. She can knock down the mid-range with ease and touch. Lexi is a fantastic talent.

I was able to attend "The Jesse" last weekend and got eyes on plenty of talented girls. These post players were outstanding and are setting themselves up nicely for the remainder of the AAU season.
