It's a rare, but exciting, occasion when you get several players with division one offers in one place on just four courts. In this case, several of these players not only hold division one offers, but were ranked in the top 100 nationally or highly ranked players from their respective states. With the Westside Lady Rams, who are coming off a 27-2 record, from Anderson, South Carolina, alongside recent state champions from Georgia, Newton, and other strong girl's programs like Grayson, GAC, Creekside, and Norcross in attendance, there were playmakers on every court at every time slot throughout the day.

Marshall lived up to the hype in person showing elite skills to pair with elite athleticism at the guard position. Marshall wasted no time putting her imprint on the game kicking down a corner three as well as a floater off the glass as she slashed to the basket. She is electric with the ball in her hands, so with her quickness and ball handling ability, it seemed like something special could happen on each play. Westside played the best teams from Georgia that were there and nobody played better than her that I saw against very good competition. Marshall currently holds offers from Coastal Carolina, UNC Wilmington, George Mason, Furman, East Carolina, as well as one Power Four offer from Georgia Tech. I do not know what the new UGA staff is looking for as far as recruits they are targeting, but if they are not the next Power Four program to offer Tiana, I would be a little surprised.

I had not seen Harmony play in person in years, but have kept up with her progress and development as she showed a lot of promise early in her high school career. I saw first hand at camp just how good of a player she has become. Harmoni was excellent attacking the basket and finishing with her dominant left hand at the rim. These were not uncontested layups on a fast break, but instead, Earl went at, through, and over some players who I personally have a high opinion of and know can play. She was very efficient and played within the framework of the offense in the half court and a constant threat to score running the lanes on the break. I expect Earl to add to her current list of offers before she returns back to school as a senior. South Carolina State, North Carolina Central University, Cal State Fullerton, Elon, East Carolina, and Kansas City have all extended scholarship offers to Earl.

Harris has looked very comfortable and confident back playing with Creekside during June in the games I have watched her play. She is one of the more skilled guards in the 2028 class and with her confidence high, she has been aggressive and efficient scoring the ball. In Athens, Harris went after defenders she felt like she could take in isolation situations and scored the ball impressively from three and off the dribble scoring at the rim. Harris did not pound the air out of the ball, instead got into the lane or to the elbows with only the amount of dribbles necessary. She hit one fadeaway jump shot in the middle of traffic off a spin move that was especially impressive. She is another player who has earned multiple offers recently with her excellent play during AAU leading up to June, that list will continue to grow with performances like she had on Sunday.

Sydnee was excellent sharing the role of primary ball handler and playmaker with Neveah Anderson, while still showing her excellent shooting ability from deep and break down of defenders off the dribble. She was very good pushing the pace and the ball in transition and had no problem giving the ball up to her very talented teammates who were in a better position to score. With Cece Dennis still out, Hunter and [player_tooltip player_id='1055876' first='Jacy' last='Mitchell'] are the elder stateswomen of the group with the most experience and they led not only vocally, but with their play. Hunter's versatility and high level of skill on the offensive end have made her a priority in the 2027 class for multiple colleges. She is a proven, consistent winner that will make whatever program she chooses much better.

I have seen Jacy get hot and score the ball in bunches one time before UGA team camp, so it was not a surprise to see her go on a tear during the game against Norcross scoring the basketball in just about every way possible. Mitchell, who often times is the primary ball handler and distributor for Creekside, was on one scoring in transition at the rim as well as hitting a runner from about five feet out on another break. She hit jump shots from three and the midrange throughout the game as well. I do not know what percentage she shot in that particular game, but I do not remember her missing a shot from behind the three point line. Defensively, she did what she does applying pressure and creating turnovers. Mitchell is one of the best players in the state at coming from the backside to help on defense and stealing the ball from defenders when they cannot see her. She has been doing that successfully for years. This was the first time I have seen Jacy play since the high school season ended, and it was the best I have seen her play, which is personally something I have done a lot of.

In a game versus Creekside with potentially six future college guards in it (four of which were on Creekside), Newman did everything she could to keep her team in the game. These are two of the best teams in Georgia and the game was decided by a point. Newman more than held her own scoring basket for basket with the Creekside guards, both inside and out. Newman is one of the best shooters in Georgia and has been for a long time, but she is much more than that as she scored attacking the basket on the break and in the half court. Millie has one of the highest basketball IQs to go along with her diverse and impressive skill set on offense. She never gets sped up and she values the basketball. Newman doesn't take bad shots and she does not turn the ball over playing on the highest level of prep basketball you can. She will be a very good college player wherever she ends up, but luckily we get to watch her for two more years in high school before she makes her decision.
