The Mystics hosted their Open Run this morning at The Cage, bringing together a talented group of players from the 2030 class. The event gave the Mystics' director and coaching staff an opportunity to evaluate players as they begin the process of determining team placement for the upcoming season. After working through the evaluation process, the players competed in full-court 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 action, giving them an opportunity to showcase their skills in a competitive setting. With plenty of talent on the floor, several players found ways to catch my eye. Here are some of the 2030 players who stood out during the Mystics Open Run.

Natalie put together a standout performance at the Mystics Open Run, showing why she is quickly becoming one of the names to watch in the 2030 class. During the 3-on-3 action, the long and athletic guard made an impact on both ends with a block and a mid-range jumper. She took her scoring to another level in the 5-on-5, catching fire from beyond the arc with at least four three-pointers while also knocking down a pull-up jumper. Natalie recently picked up her first Division 1 offer earlier this month, and her performance at The Cage showed why more opportunities could be ahead. She continues to make a strong case as one of the top incoming freshmen in the state.

Aubriana showed her versatility on both ends of the floor during the Mystics Open Run. In the 3-on-3 action, she knocked down a shot from beyond the arc and also displayed excellent hands on the defensive end. Her length became an even bigger factor during 5-on-5, where she used her size and athleticism to disrupt the offense with blocks and deflections. Aubriana's defensive activity and ability to contribute from the perimeter made her someone who caught my eye at The Cage.

Taylor showed strong decision-making during the 5-on-5 action at the Mystics Open Run. She made an excellent pass in transition and consistently made smart reads when attacking the basket. Taylor did a great job getting into the lane, drawing multiple defenders, and then finding the open teammate rather than forcing a shot. Her ability to put pressure on the defense and create opportunities for others made her someone who caught my eye at The Cage.

Madeline caught fire during the 5-on-5 action at the Mystics Open Run, knocking down back-to-back three-pointers to spark the offense. She also showed confidence with the ball in her hands, displaying solid handles and the ability to create space. On the defensive end, Madeline competed with toughness and stayed active throughout her time on the floor. Her combination of shooting, ball skills, and defensive effort made for a strong showing at The Cage.

Eden brought plenty of energy to both ends of the floor during the Mystics Open Run. The guard competed hard defensively, using active hands and good anticipation to jump passing lanes and create opportunities. She also ran the floor hard in transition and was rewarded with several buckets. Eden handled the ball well throughout the game action, giving her team another steady option in the backcourt. Her defensive activity, pace, and ball skills made for a strong showing at The Cage.
