Taylor is a three-point threat who can put points on a hurry when she has space from beyond the arc. It was her impact as a facilitator that stood out during the PGH Michigan Freshman Showcase. She has tight handles and changes directions with smooth behind-the-back snaps, crossovers, and pocket dribbles. Taylor keeps her eyes up, moves well without the ball, and creates open looks for teammates by setting screens. She made a great inside-out kickout to assist on a corner three, and her unselfish extra pass on a fastbreak led to an easy two points for a teammate. Taylor stayed alert on the defensive end, picked off a pass in transition, sprinted from behind to poke a ball out for a steal, snagged a long lead pass for a nice fast-break left-handed finish off two feet, and contributed as a rebounder. She had a solid day for Team 3 and will be the court general at Bay City Central this winter.

Bay City Central is adding an immediate playmaker to their backcourt. Taylor drained a deep three up top and added another smooth triple from the wing off a jab step-back. She jumped up to snatch a defensive rebound at its highest point and handled the ball with poise. Taylor stretches the floor with her outside shot, creates with her dribble, and does a nice job of moving to open space. She’ll be a prospect to watch at the PGH Michigan Freshman Showcase.

Taylor showed strong decision-making during the 5-on-5 action at the Mystics Open Run. She made an excellent pass in transition and consistently made smart reads when attacking the basket. Taylor did a great job getting into the lane, drawing multiple defenders, and then finding the open teammate rather than forcing a shot. Her ability to put pressure on the defense and create opportunities for others made her someone who caught my eye at The Cage.

Taylor showed a solid perimeter game, able to knock down a three off the pass. She also knocked down another big shot from the corner, showing some consistency from behind the arc. In transition, she displayed the ability to distribute north/south on a dime. 

Taylor, a guard for Mystics, is a player to keep an eye on heading into the MI College Tour II at Wayne State. She brings a well-rounded offensive game, with the ability to knock down shots from deep and stretch the floor with confidence. Taylor can also put pressure on defenses off the dribble, attacking the lane and finishing through contact. As a playmaker, she does a great job reading the floor, drawing defenders, and finding open teammates. On the defensive end, her anticipation and active hands allow her to create turnovers and spark transition opportunities. With her all-around skill set, she has the potential for a big weekend.

Taylor, competing with Team Liberty at the P2W Headliners Invitational Showcase, was a consistent offensive threat from the guard position. She connected on multiple three-pointers from various spots beyond the arc, showing confidence in her shooting stroke and the ability to knock down shots in rhythm. Taylor also displayed the ability to put pressure on the defense with strong drives to the basket, attacking the lane and finishing through contact. In addition, she did a good job reading the floor as a playmaker, using her dribble penetration to draw defenders and then finding open teammates with well-timed passes. Defensively, she contributed by generating several steals, using active hands and good anticipation to disrupt opponents. Overall, she showed a well-rounded game highlighted by her scoring, decision-making, and defensive activity.
