More 2028 Guards Turn Heads at Northwood Elite Camp

Northwood hosted an Elite Camp that brought together a talented group of players for a day filled with skill development, competition, and learning. The Northwood coaching staff led campers through a variety of skill drills before putting those skills to work in competitive 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 action, creating plenty of opportunities for players to showcase their abilities. The Northwood players coached the teams throughout the camp, giving them a front-row look at the campers' effort, skill, and overall game. With a talented group of 2028 guards on the floor, several players caught my attention with their ability to make plays and impact the game in different ways. Here are the 2028 guards who turned heads at the Northwood Elite Camp.    Brinley turned heads at the Northwood Elite Camp with her ability to create off the dribble and make plays at both ends of the floor. During 3-on-3 action, she used her quickness to blow by her defender and finish at the basket. That attacking mentality carried over into 5-on-5 play, where Brinley consistently got downhill and put pressure on the defense with her tight ball-handling. She also did a great job pushing the pace with her head up, finding teammates with well-timed passes in transition. On the defensive end, Brinley competed with toughness and made it difficult for opposing guards to get comfortable. Her combination of ball skills, playmaking, and defensive intensity made her a guard who consistently stood out throughout the camp.     Annie showcased her scoring ability at the Northwood Elite Camp, especially from the perimeter. During 3-on-3 action, she knocked down multiple three-pointers and showed she can be a reliable threat from beyond the arc. She carried that confidence into 5-on-5 play, where she created space in the lane and connected on a smooth stop-and-pop jumper. Annie's ability to stretch the floor while also finding ways to score inside the arc made her a guard who caught my attention throughout the camp.       Leah showed her ability to make plays for herself and others throughout the Northwood Elite Camp. During 3-on-3 action, she attacked the lane with confidence, beating her defender off the dribble for a bucket and later delivering a terrific drive-and-kick pass to an open teammate. Leah carried that attacking mentality into 5-on-5 play, where she knocked down shots from beyond the arc and competed hard on the defensive end. Her ability to create off the dribble, stretch the floor, and contribute defensively made her a guard who caught my attention at camp.       Kaiya showed why she can be viewed as a complete floor general at the Northwood Elite Camp. During 5-on-5 action, she consistently kept her head up and found teammates with a variety of well-timed passes, displaying excellent court vision and a strong feel for the game. Kaiya did more than simply distribute the ball, as she was also active and disciplined on the defensive end. She communicated constantly, helped keep her teammates organized, and made sure everyone was on the same page. Her combination of playmaking, basketball IQ, and defensive leadership made her one of the 2028 guards who turned heads at camp.       OJ was a standout at the Northwood Elite Camp, consistently showing why her ability to play off two feet makes her so effective around the basket. During 3-on-3 action, she made a great drive-and-kick pass to a teammate after drawing the defense into the lane. In 5-on-5 play, OJ repeatedly attacked the rim with confidence, using excellent body control and strong finishes to score around the basket. She did a great job staying balanced through contact and making herself difficult to stop once she got into the paint. Defensively, OJ used her length to disrupt plays and make things difficult for opponents. Her combination of body control, finishing ability, playmaking, and defensive versatility made her one of the 2028 guards who turned heads at camp.
