Miss Versatiles from the Expo

Miller is fairly recently recovered from an injury, but it wasn't noticeable with her energy levels. Which is something that has never been in doubt when watching the northern Oklahoma athlete compete. She's one of the best rebounders in the state, with an "that's mine" mentality. But she's not just a hustler and scrapper, Miller has shooting touch in the mid-range. Even hitting the occasional three pointer. While there were moments of rustiness, the motor and long term potential remains apparent for Miller to be a collegiate player. Dooley always plays like her hair on fire and this viewing was no different. She's one of the most disruptive defenders in the state. Routinely forced turnovers and made her presence known on the defensive end. Then offensively she didn't force it, plays smart with a blend of scoring efficiently and also being a smart passer. To use a cliche, Dooley simply knows how to play. Can impact the game on the ball offensively, while being equally comfortable playing off the ball. Expect a huge sophomore season for Dooley and 2A contenders Pawhuska. Possibly the poster child for this category, Ellison is a rising junior who impacts the game in so many ways. She's a scrappy defender. Has quick hands for steals and blocks, with a tenacity to match. She mixes it up all over the court. Then along with doing the little things, Ellison will also score efficiently by hitting open threes and making shots at the rim. After missing her sophomore season with a major injury, Ellison looks fully recovered and ready to go. She's an ideal fit as defensive focused off the ball guard for a feisty Timberwolf team. As she's capable of making an impact beyond the box score. Shine was everyone on the court at the camp. She's a speedy threat off the bounce, but she doesn't just use her athleticism to get buckets. She attacks offensive rebounds like a taller player. Which her light on her feet movement allows her to quickly go right back up and score. Had moments of good transition passing and all around playmaking. Shine is very capable of making a big impact, in a variety of ways at her new school this winter. Crawford's profile is built around her power and touch around the rim. However, she isn't limited to battling around the rim. The girl simply knows how to play. She's a snazzy passer as a post and even able to handle the rock a bit. While she'll always be nails around the rim, her expanding skillset is a promising development. As she can step out to hit jumpers and help make the offense flow with smart passing. With developing finesse to compliment her power, expect a big sophomore campaign as Crawford helps the Lady Titans defend their crown.
