But she's not just a sniper, She's a confident and crafty driving off the bounce. Plays strong and tough, sets up defenders with crossover and spin moves to gain the step needed to get downhill. However she also is speedy in transition and a fluid athlete when slashing in the halfcourt. High level next level athlete, she's a strong rebounder and thrives on the defensive end. At the camp there were moments where she shined as a scorer. A role that she should play for her new high school. Always under control, especially for her height and athleticism, she plays off two feet on drives. Which helps draws fouls to compliment her strong finishing. And the improvements continue to be there as a shooter. When left open from deep, she made defenders pay. Rather it was a pull up triple or a spot up. The catch and shoot ability is very promising consider the role she's likely to play Scoring wise it might take a bit longer for Shomo to fully breakout, as she's playing on a loaded high school team. Has a killer first step, with a burst that can leave defenders in the dust. Along with the straight line speed, she's strong at changing directions with a nice crossover. One of the better athletes at the camp and it translated to being able get down hill and score at will. Capable of finishing with both hands around the rim, while also being a fundamentally sound shooter. Plays out of triple threat when she catches the ball, using jab steps to create space. Which defenders must respect her speed, and then she can cash out. Has a knack for scoring crafty points with transition plays and popping up with long offensive rebounds. The righty finished very well with her left hand with multiple contested finishes. Her touch appears to be improving around the rim, which matches well with her long range threat. Looked more mobile latterly, which should also help on defense. The first step this winter will be becoming a go to scorer for her new program.
