Jordyn is the main piece to the Bowman County Bulldogs. She is their main ball-handler, best scorer, and best defender. Her coach can't afford to take her out of the game if they are going to be competitive. This shows her good stamina as she is able to play pretty much the entire game with only taking breaks during timeouts, quarter-breaks, and half time. Jordyn is a sneaky lefty with a nice shooting motion. She launches threes from deep and averaged about one three-point make a game last season. She has potential to be an excellent player. The returning All-District selection averaged 11.7 points and 3.6 rebounds last season.

Suri is a recruit with a ton of division two offers already. She currently has offers from University of Mary, Black Hills State University, University of Minnesota-Crookston, Minot State University, Minnesota State University Moorhead, and University of Jamestown. Suri will excel and be able to score at a high clip at the D2 level. She is already used to scoring in bunches. She has scored 48 points two times in her career and is the fourth leading returning scorer in the entire state this season. She is going to eat these next two years and will finish as one of the top scorers in state history. If you haven't had a chance to watch Suri hoop you are missing out!

Richman is one of the most sought after recruits in the 2028 class. She currently holds offers from Minnesota State University Moorhead, Bemidji State, Minot State, University of Mary, Augustana, and University of Jamestown. I think the rest of the Northern Sun Conference should offer Violet as well as she is certainly talented enough to be a great player in that league. Violet is one of the most skilled guards in the state and is incredibly crafty with the ball. She has various ways of creating advantages for her team to improve their chances to score the rock. Richman is a knock-down shooter from deep and a true competitor. She is the real deal as a recruit.

Anika is a returning All-Region selection for the Thunder and she has high expectations for herself and her team. She is a really good athlete who has a fantastic burst of speed. When she commits to being powerful going to the basket she is hard to stop. I appreciate the effort and energy that Anika plays with. She can defend guards and posts effectively due to her impressive strength. She is able to catch passes in traffic and get to the rim. Her ability to get to the free-throw line is valuable. Lastly, Pinke plays with great effort. She is able to keep multiple possessions alive each game due to her tremendous effort on the court.

Addisyn is a fantastic athlete and is ready to take the next step in her development this season. Benson County graduates two starters including All-State player Aubrey Kenner, so there is some production that returning players will need to take on. Addisyn is next in line and should be an even bigger contributor this year. Her speed and strength stand out when you watch her play. She zooms up the court and is always playing the game at a high effort level, which I really appreciate. She gets herself into offensive rebounding situations, loose balls, and other gritty plays to gain extra possessions for her team. Addisyn was an All-District selection last season with averages of 10.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.

Karli is a very fundamentally sound guard. She doesn't make many mistakes on the court and is a reliable player. She does a good job of keeping space in the half-court and moving the ball on offense. She finds the open girl whether it is a flash to the high post or a swing pass to the corner. Kitzan is a patient player and is able to knock down the three. She has nice rhythm and lift in her shot. Coach Miller describes her as a player who can shoot the ball at a high level and someone capable of attacking the basket with a great floater move. He is expecting continued success this season from the 2028 guard.

Killoran is a staple in the Maple River basketball program and a very steady player. She averaged 6 points and 4 rebounds per game last season. She was very valuable in other areas on the offensive side. She keeps space and moves to the right spot on drives. She is also an excellent passer. She finds teammates on back-door cuts and can rifle in passes on the dot. She is also able to pass accurately one-handed. Killoran's physical strength and toughness is fun to watch.

I just read that Kenley will unfortunately miss this season due to an injury and I am really sorry to hear that news as Nelson County will sorely miss her. She is the Chargers best and most complete player and they will struggle to find ways to win games this season without her. She brings an ability to score, handle the ball, rebound, and play defense. Kenley is a solid athlete with good size for a guard. She possesses a good change of pace that allows her to get past opponents when driving to the basket. She has a nice soft floater that bounces nicely into the hoop. Kenley is a college potential recruit and I wish her the best in her recovery. I hope to see her on the court soon!

Natalie is a very good player and has a chance to be an All-District selection this season. She does a lot of little things well for her squad. She is a great defender and keeps opposing players in front in the half-court. Her long arms are disruptive and lead to deflections and steals. She defends without fouling and can alter and block shots at the rim. Natalie is a good shooter and can keep spacing on offense with her three-point shooting. She averaged about one three-point make per game last season and I think she will be even better this season. The Thunder have high expectations for post-season play. The regional and state tournament are in play with players like Natalie on the team.
