Suri was my choice for MVP of the expo, she was All Expo Team, All Sniper Team, All Handles Team, and All Dime Droppers. Her game is exceptional from all aspects. Gourd plays with such poise and smoothness about her game that it seems almost effortless. She is a 3 level scorer and does not miss a shot when she gets going. I heard the opposing coach say, don’t let her get hot multiple times. Gourd all but took over the final game of the day, no official stats but she had at least 30. Suri plays with a great attitude and really respects her teammates. Next level will be calling soon.

Suri had a nice summer season and has complimented her AAU season with attending many regional Elite Camps. She has all of the tools in her toolbox to get a college scholarship. She can score from anywhere and has the frame to continue to get stronger and harder to defend. She is able to get downhill in a hurry and maintain offensive advantages. She has a very quick release and isn’t afraid to shoot it from deep. Suri is Four Winds’ best player and will go down in their history books as one of the best to play there.

Suri is a scoring machine and plays with a steady head on her shoulders. She has had to become a leader at a young age and that is a quality I know college coaches are going to be interested in having on their team. She has a sweet shooting touch and a quick release. Suri is the main focus of opposing defenses and this can sometimes skew shooting percentages. Suri will thrive even more on squads with multiple scoring options that can space the floor.

Suri is a scoring machine, having already eclipsed 1000 career points as a 2028. She was able to show that scoring ability at Who’s Next. One coach described her as ‘not being able to miss.’ She is a three-point sniper and a crafty offensive player. During the 1-on-1 session, she was able to use that creativity to score at will. Suri looked really good.

. She is another freshman who has already eclipsed 1,000 career points. She is going to be a highly sought after recruit and will turn some heads the next couple of years. She is a good sized guard at 5’8 and has a silky-smooth shot. She can score from anywhere and has great athleticism. She plays on a great AAU team so she will definitely get collegiate looks going forward.

Suri is a scoring machine for Four Winds and put up incredible varsity numbers for her team last season as an eighth grader. Last season she averaged 17.3 points per game and 5.4 rebounds per game. She also dished out 120 assists, had 121 steals, and put in 60 three pointers. Those are baffling numbers for someone so young and she is certainly just getting started. She is a very smooth basketball player, gliding up and down the floor with ease. She can snake by defenders to get to the rim and also spot up for threes. She has huge upside as a prospect and is one who I see continuing to get better throughout her high school career.

This superstar 9th grade PG is averaging 21.7 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 4.8 apg, 4.2 spg, 35% 3FG%, and 17 made treys in 6 games. Suri recently had a career-high over Xmas Break at the Valley City Holiday Shootout (Dec 28 vs Bottineau, L 53-56), she finished with 34 points which included 6 triples. Gourd was pulling from deep, got into the lane quite a bit to finish, and drew some fouls. She sprained her ankle late in the game which led to Bottineau taking the lead and the win. Suri has been getting to her spot and knocking down her mid-range jumpers too. Gourd is a mature & smart player, she wants the ball in crunch time, is not afraid to take the big shot, and is very confident shooting a deep 3. Gourd scores from all 3 levels, she is very skilled with her fundamentals, and she is getting better at drawing fouls. Suri is a relentless competitor who hates to lose.
