Nipstad is one of the top talents in the 2028 class and one of the best players in North Dakota. She is the top returning scorer in all of Class A with an average of 26.8 points per game. I believe Nipstad is certainly a Division 2 prospect with potential of going higher with continued improvement in speed and quickness. She is obviously a scoring machine but is also a fantastic defender. She anticipates passing lanes as good as anyone I have watched. She recorded 164(!) steals last season and had many more deflections. Her ability to have her defensive play turn into points is impressive. College coaches should give Nipstad a good look this year as she continues to dominate competition.

Braylee is a player with a lot of potential as a recruit and a higher ceiling than other girls in this class because of her elite athleticism and height for a guard. Standing at a long 5'10 and with a quick burst of speed, Braylee is a recruit I would take a hard look at. She is fast and speedy up the court and has the potential to be an unbelievable defender. She continues to gain confidence on the offensive end and should have an opportunity to be productive this season for the Blue Jays. Her ability to defend multiple positions, her jumping ability and quickness, and a hunger to get better has Braylee sitting as the number 16 ranked girl in the 2028 class.

Glandt is Miss Steady for the Hi-Liners and is a reliable point guard who consistently shows up. She is a big reason that Valley City can play a double-post offense and a big reason that her two post teammates are All-Region players. She is able to control the pace of the game and limit turnovers against pressure defense. She can initiate the half-court and deliver on-target passes to her teammates for easy looks at the basket. Kinslee is a capable scorer with a nice shooting form and should have more opportunities to let if fly from deep this season. Valley has won the last two state championships in Class A, so Glandt is a proven winner.

Harper is a returning All-Region selection and one of the better scoring guards in Region 1. She is a relentless and fearless player when driving downhill to the basket. She turns the corner with great determination and uses her strength to maintain advantages and finish through contact. She gets to the free-throw line many times throughout contests and knocks them down with ease. Harper possesses a good burst of speed and quick first-step. She knocked down 31 three-pointers last season indicating that she can score inside and out. Last season she averaged 14.9 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. She also recorded a team high 53 steals.

Sheyenne has an opportunity to increase her role this season after a solid sophomore campaign. She would come into games last season and immediately bring a spark. She is a tough and hard-nosed player who plays good defense. She gets into a low stance with high hands, sits in gaps, and keeps opposing players in front on drives. She is an impressive athlete driving to the hoop. She has great body control and can absorb contact effortlessly while finishing at the basket. Bingeman is someone that likes to step out and knock down the three as well. Last season she averaged 5.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.

Aniston is an All-Region selection solidifying herself as a top player in the State. She likes to play inside and finish creatively around the basket but is really effective from deep. She steps behind that three-point line, maintains space, is shot ready, and knocks down the triple. She hit an impressive 43 three-pointers last season as a sophomore and I anticipate that number rising this season. Hoornaert is a good athlete, long, and competitive. Carrington is eager to make the state tournament this season and should have a great chance with Aniston leading the way.
