It gets you in this confident mindset, where you are ready to take on any and everything. That song right there is the perfect description of the Power 100 Camp presented by AAOTR this past weekend at Antioch High School. This phenomenal event wasn't just for the city, it was for the whole freaking state. A talented lineup that had some of the top girls in the high school ranks, getting trained up and competing against one another one last time before the high school season tips off.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The gymnasium was bumpin! The young ladies brought the energy, the DJ was playing his favorite songs, kids got after it the moment they stepped foot in the gym. The agenda for the day was on point as the event kicked off with the trainers testing the girls through different drills. The girls got after each other, receiving plenty of work prior to playing games. After a short break, it was on as the 5v5 competition kicked off. You talking about an electric event, this place was the place to be.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I am going to say this, this event was truly about the kids. Having an event such as this where talent from all across the state, no matter the classification, came to one central location to showcase their skills was awesome. Truly an amazing event for sure. This event was put on for the city and showcased the whole state. This 3 level scoring threat is a heady ball player who can score it, dish it, and basically can change the course of the game at any given time. Has smooth handles. Brings energy to the floor. Solid two-way player who is a game changer. Her skills were on display as she dazzled the crowd with her style of play. This kid can fill it up and she goes hard each and every possession. Call her Rosie the Riveter cause she can do all things. Score, rebound, assists, defend. She is going to give you the business and go at you. Yes she is a 3 level scoring threat, but she too is a hard nosed competitor. She can fill it up from the perimeter, but if she gets a paint touch, it's game over. I love her ability to defend and she reads the floor well on the defensive side of the ball.&nbsp; Don't make a mistake because she is sure to capitalize off of it. Blessed with great size and strength, her physicality sets her apart from a lot of girls. A versatile forward who can pound it down low around the blocks or carve you up in the mid-range. She is a hard nose defender who makes life difficult for opponents. Add her rebounding and blocking abilities and you have one heck of a prospect. This kid is not a finished product and will continue to get better over the years. She already has P4 offers and will continue to get plenty more.
