Bondurant - Farrar High School are going to be led by their Senior leadership for this upcoming season. Following that, their underclassman group will have to step up into those productive roles. Someone for their 2027 squad, that is definitely better than you average at the PG spot for her age is [player_tooltip player_id='1044964' first='Tiara' last='Berggren']. Berggren brings together a smooth style of play combined with patience. Most of the time, those are two things you don't see from a younger player in the game but you do here. If Bergggren can find her spot within her Varsity program sometime this Winter, it should fair for her pretty well moving forward.

When I watched [player_tooltip player_id='777230' first='Halle' last='Clark'] earlier this Winter season, I was thorough impressed with the production that she brought to her SE Polk Varsity program. Clark is just an all around coordinated individual, that understands timing and space. Against other high level competition, Clark has done a good job of shining consistently up until this point. I've heard this is a prospect that is talented in some other sports as well, so we will see what she sticks with at the end of her high school career. Until then, I'm sure the SE Polk staff is doing all they can to get her to continue on with the Rams until she graduates.

[player_tooltip player_id='1044930' first='Baileigh' last='Uthoff'] stepped up this past Fall at our PGH Showcase in Des Moines and she has started off her Sophomore season on the same positive note. Uthoff can take over when she has confidence, a solid system around her, and good spacing. I've seen it first hand a lot these past few months. As for her personal ranking with the 2027 Class, I think it's fair to say she is definitely a Top 50 prospect at this point. She just needs to continue to work on her weaknesses, like everyone else.

If we are solely talking about the Center position out of this Class, [player_tooltip player_id='881974' first='Emma' last='Zabel'] is someone that comes across my mind. Zabel has height at 6'0, a higher future potential than most her age, and she has demonstrated that she is a quicker learner. When she is performing on the AAU scene, she has shown that she can really make some waves throughout a ball game with her mixture of height and motor. Jesup is going to need her in the middle to control things if they want to beat other sound programs this Winter. They have a few productive recruits but Zabel could definitely step up as their main piece before you know it.

[player_tooltip player_id='833974' first='Ava' last='Casey'] starts for her Varsity team as a Sophomore and that does say something when you consider that they have multiple D1 recruits on the roster. Casey is a PG that leads tempo, pace of play, and she makes sure that everyone is in the correct spots whenever they are getting into their sets on the offensive side of the ball. Defensively, she is a mixture of annoying and suffocating. She slowly takes space away from the opponent in front of her and that leads to active steals in the full court. Over the next 2.5 seasons, Casey will continue to be their main piece at the PG along with a few select others. Her sister just happened to commit to the college level and I wouldn't be shocked if Ava is in the same situation down the line.

The SE Polk roster is a deep one at the Varsity level as it houses 15 players, that all dress to compete. Someone out of their underclassmen group, who could be a factor for the Rams over time is SG - [player_tooltip player_id='1044959' first='Presley' last='Zeutenhorst']. Zeutenhorst falls into our Top 50 for ranked players in the state because of her shooting ability off of the ball, high motor, better than average defense, and willingness to take advice in real time. From a recruitment standpoint, this is a player that checks off a lot of boxes that collegiate recruiters have. She just needs to continue to have opportunities to demonstrate that. I think over the rest of this season, she should see the Varsity floor on more of a consistent basis but I guess we will have to wait and see.
