Abby is continuing to improve her game. She seems a little bit better each time I see her play. I was impressed with her improvement in her ball-handling. She was able to bring the ball up against pressure this weekend and didn’t seem to be fazed by opposing defenders. She was able to spin past defenders, retreat dribble, and use her speed to break opponent’s press defenses. She is more than capable from lighting it up from deep and I would consider her one of the best outside shooters in the WDA. The two-time All-WDA selection is hoping to make it three in a row next season. I am confident she will get the job done.

Praus is the pride of Dickinson these past couple of seasons. She has been the steady piece in a rebuild effort and is on the edge of reaping the rewards of her hard work. Dickinson has suffered some lopsided losses these past two years, yet Abby still gets face-guarded. This is a testament to how good opposing coaches think she is. When she is able to get free from pressure, she is a deadly shooter with a quick release. I am hopeful that her hard work and perseverance pays off next season with a few more Maverick victories.

Abby has been one of the few steady points for a Mavericks program that has been in a rebuild mode the last few seasons. She once again found herself on the All-WDA team this season. The 5’6 guard has garnered a few local school’s interest and would be a great local pickup for Dickinson State. She plays really hard and has a great attitude on the court. She is widely known for her outside shooting. Her percentage would be even better if she had a little more relief on the offensive side of the floor. She is a steady and capable ball-handler. I think Dickinson is poised for a breakout season next year with Abby leading the way.

. The returning All-WDA player is a big time scorer and is poised for another terrific season. She has a really nice looking shot with a quick release. She isn’t afraid to shoot it from deep, knocking down multiple three-pointers last season from 6 feet or more behind the arc. She is really good at getting downhill to her right hand and shooting soft baseline floaters. Abby is looking to make an impact on her team’s win total in 2025-2026.

The gunslinger from out West is on pace to have an outstanding high school career. The 5’6 guard is lethal from anywhere on the court and isn’t afraid of taking the big shot. She moves well and has a quick release. She is a good ball-handler and will be key to Dickinson improving their win total from 24-25. Abby has started to receive some recruiting attention and it will continue as she starts her junior season.
