Bishop Ireton had trouble scoring in this one against an elite McNamara defense. One bright spot for Ireton was [player_tooltip player_id='897837' first='Geornae' last='Davis']. Geornae battled in the paint and bullied her way to the rim. She got to the line a lot, and she had a nice touch from there. She banked in a deep two and was solid on the glass. She finished with 13 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='239453' first='Zhen' last='Craft'] had a nice second half for McNamara. Zhen is always fantastic defensively and on the glass. She was both of those things today, and she had an and 1 late that punctuated McNamara capturing their 4th WCAC title. She finished with 10 points and 7 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='336823' first='Mary' last='Amoateng'] filled up the stat sheet. McNamara did a good job on the offensive glass, and the sheer effort Mary displayed crashing the glass off of misses was fantastic. She created several second-chance opportunities by outworking Ireton. Mary was solid defensively and made some excellent passes. Mary finished with 6 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='838920' first='Nyair' last='McCoy'] got both halves started with a three for McNamara. There were points where Ireton was in a zone, and Nyair picked it apart. A lot of young guards struggle with not getting the ball out quickly against zones, but Nyair did the opposite. The ball moved like a hot potato and found open shooters. Nyair had 8 points, 9 assists, and 5 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='787978' first='Qandace' last='Samuels'] has been extremely impressive over the past few days. Qandace had a terrific first half for McNamara in this game. She has shown her ability to drive the ball and have some tough finishes, and she is one of the best shooters in the area. Qandace is a prototype wing, and she again led McNamara in scoring with 15 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='239477' first='Princess' last='Moody'] coming off the bench speaks to the quality of this McNamara squad. Princess had a fantastic first half, and she was one of the most assertive offensive players early. Princess hit a few tough shots and had 7 first-half points. She didn't play much in the first half, but Princess always comes out and contributes during her time at McNamara. She has excellent speed and is a nice player on both ends.
