Expert Analysis
Tink Butler | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Zhen cleans up everything around the basket and covers for her teammates mistakes with six of her ten rebounds on the offensive end and leading to points. Speaking of points she led all scorers with 15 of them and was impressive on both ends of the floor. She has been consistent her entire career as I have never seen her have a “bad” game.

had a nice game on both ends. Zhen does a great job moving without the ball and getting easy buckets. She was aggressive in the paint and forced Seton into a few fouls. She finished with 11 points.

Zhen gobbles up virtually every rebound that comes her way. She typically comes up with the board even when going up against taller player. She builds stats on the offensive glass as she is a high percentage finisher around the basket. Her mid range shot from 13′ in is money.

Bishop McNamara and IMG played a low-scoring game that McNamara won comfortably. Zhen Craft was impressive for McNamara today. IMG has a lot of size, and Zhen dealt with it on both ends well. I love what Zhen does off the ball, and she is automatic with her short jumper.

A dominant two-way force in the paint for Team Takeover , you’d be hard-pressed to find a more effective defensive anchor at this level. Craft is a tenacious defender with quick, agile footwork that allows her to stay in front of her opponent and disrupt their rhythm. Her ability to contest shots effectively at the summit of their release point is noticeable. Her quick feet combined with her size make her a formidable presence on the defensive end, as she can challenge shots both on the perimeter and around the rim. Her relentless rebounding ability, along with her adeptness at finishing in the paint with both hands, makes her a dynamic force around the rim, consistently securing crucial boards and finishing at the rim. Craft and Takeover finished Nike Nationals in 3rd place after a tough three-point loss to a stacked Cy-Fair squad in the semis.

-Craft’s presence in the paint on both ends of the floor dominated the semifinal matchup, 1 pt and 3 rebounds away from a 20-20 performance in a big game. She has the tenacity to get to 50/50 balls and rebounds in traffic but also has the touch to finish around/over defenders in the paint. Motor runs hot on both ends of the floor, I expect more perimeter shots to fall for her teammates to boost the assist numbers as well. Her matchup with Bullis’ two bigs will likely decide the outcome of the game.
