As February ends and March begins, there are still a number of quality prospects in the 2025 class who remain uncommitted. As is normal from year to year, a few will attend college without wanting to play basketball, and others are committed but have yet to put anything out publicly about their commitment, so I want to respect their privacy with this. However, below I wanted to highlight seven ladies who are uncommitted as far as I know, and who I believe intend to play college hoops next season. If I am incorrect with either of those assumptions, please update us as to their intentions.

As of the end of Summer in 2024, I was hearing reports that Alyssa was unfortunately done playing due to injury issues. But by opening night, she was in uniform for Corydon. As the season progressed, she got better and better, and by the end she had averaged 14.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. She is a dynamic ball-handler with a creative instinct. She can create separation and find open teammates, but she's also a very good perimeter shooter. I'm not sure if she has reevaluated college as an option at this point.

Lilly's story is also injury based. She is a very cerebral, tough, and skilled point guard who was an Indiana Junior All-Star a season ago. Unfortunately, last year in the Semi-State finale, she suffered an ankle injury late in the game, and she has played through it since. She was always present at grassroots events last Spring & Summer, and she had a solid Senior campaign for Center Grove as well, but if you had seen her previously, she wasn't the same. She is likely using this time to regain 100% of her health and be a headache for opponents again.

Kaelyse had her best high school season as a Senior, and she has progressively gotten better each year. She is a huge presence in the paint, whether she is finishing easy half-hooks over smaller defenders, or she sticks her arms up on defense and deters opponents. She has heard from several NJCAA Division I schools, and she is reportedly leaning a specific way, but she has yet to make an official commitment or make it public. She still has a rather high ceiling, however, and I anticipate her continuing to improve throughout college.

Jordan is a really nice, talented, athletic point guard prospect who has drawn some NAIA and NJCAA attention over the last few months. She can be aggressive to the rim, she has some touch around the perimeter, plus she is good with the ball, and she is a willing and more than capable defender. She is another one who I have heard linked to a specific school; however, nothing is official, and no announcement or anything has been made. I think she is highly recruitable, and a lot of schools are missing out by not recruiting her.

I thought Ashiyah came out and played well in the Spring of 2024 on the grassroots circuit. However, an injury kept her from playing in July, during Fall showcase events, and she missed some games early this high school season for Lawrence North. But she has played well of late, she is starting to look like herself, and she can affect the game in different ways. She is extremely long, wiry-strong, and bouncy. She is active around the paint, but she also has some touch in the mid-post and the ability to put it on the floor from there.

Joslyn came to play in the Spring & Summer of 2024 and continued her strong play this Winter. She is a highly capable scorer from all three levels, plus she can create for herself or teammates. She is tough, physical, and aggressive, and she has drawn quite a bit of small college interest. I've heard a few school names she is considering, but I also think there is still some interest on her part to find the "right fit", so she is open to hearing from new schools as well. If you need a tough combo guard who can fill it up at times, look her up.

Soriah transferred from Decatur Central to Crispus Attucks at the end of the Summer, and from what I understand, once she was denied eligibility by the IHSAA, she opted to graduate early after the first semester concluded. She is a good student, a good teammate, and she's one of those players who may not necessarily excel at any one trait, but she also isn't deficient at anything. She can shoot it a little, handle it a little, she's a nice athlete, and she's an effortful defender. She plays with a nice smoothness & versatility and is worth a look.
