Kiana’s defensive prowess begins with her ability to communicate. She’s great at letting her teammates know where to switch, and how to handle an assignment.

Kiana puts a ton of pressure on the ballhandler, leading to at least a couple of steals per game for her stat sheet.

Kiana’s height will send her inside the paint, where she’s able to be a game-change on both sides of the ball.

Kiana has the physical attributes to make her a force to be reckoned with, as her skills continue to develop.

She’s got great on-court communication abilities; talking with her teammates through defensive switches or offensive ball movement. She’s a monster on defense as well, putting a ton of pressure on the ball-handler, and forcing loose balls that lead to turnovers.

Kiana has skills at all three levels, with the presence to play physically in the post, or knock down 3-pointers.

Kiana helped her Pink Elite team to a pair of wins on Sunday. She dropped in 16 points against Chapman, and closed her tournament with 11 points in the finale.

Kiana goes strong to the basket, with great footwork and an ability to get a shot up through the defense. Her size gives her a serious advantage; giving her an ability to rip down boards and jump right into transition mode.

She’s strong with the dribble, and is scrappy enough to get on the floor and dive for loose balls. Kiana says that she’s been improving her spin move in recent years, and can maneuver well off two feet.
