Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of the Student Government Association, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated GEMS, and a member of the St. John Divine Missionary Baptist Church Youth Choir.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being a member of the GEMS and SGA programs, I have been afforded several community service opportunities that allowed me to see the importance of giving back to my community. Our girls basketball team also participates in community service activities, in which recently, June 2025, we collaborated with Sunshine Health to organize and pack food bags for their local food pantry.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

During my freshmen season of high school basketball, I did not get much playing time. Now in my entire basketball experience, both middle school and recreational ball, I have been a starter and primarily the point guard. This was extremely difficult for me to play limited minutes due to upperclassmen. The one thing I learned from this experience was humility. It was indeed a humbling experience.
