Class 3A Player Radar Watch

A couple of her main traits that stood out about her were her interior defense and her interior scoring.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>She has plus speed for her size and has lightning-fast rotations. This helps her be one of the best help defenders every time she sets foot on the court. She does a little bit of everything, as exemplified in a game where she was named player of the week by a publication. In that game, she had 27 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and four steals. She is a steal machine on defense and has a deep bag on the offensive end. Last season, she had a few games with four or more steals. This includes a game where she had six steals against Cocke County. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On offense, she can score down low efficiently, and at 5'10" is capable of shooting threes. Reed also has good speed for her size. This is a tool that she can continue to develop and make a lethal weapon in her arsenal going forward in her high school hoops career. A big with a three point shot and her athleticism is a tough guard in any game</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mutt also has elite footwork that likely stems from her soccer skills. She can read defenders well and jump passes successfully. In that season full of ups and downs, they may have found a start in now junior shooting guard, [player_tooltip player_id='818264' first='Sydney' last='Wilhite'].</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wilhite submitted last year with her plays that she is undoubtedly a college-level player. This has been given validity with her recently getting an offer to a D1 program from Southern Illinois University.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The things that ultimately stood out about her game from last year were her three-point shooting and playmaking. Last season, she had multiple games with two or more threes. This includes a game against Upperman High School, where she made four threes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The thing that makes her a dangerous shooter is that she does not care where she is on the court. She can hit a shot from six feet behind the line without hesitation. And while this is considered a bad shot for many high school players, this is a great shot selection for Wilhite.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">The Cumberland County product is also a scrappy defender.
