[player_tooltip player_id='1235066' first='Joslyn' last='Klein'] showcased her ability to knock down the deep three at a high percentage this travel season. The 5'8" guard has a long frame that allows her to get her shot off over defenders closing out, whether off the catch or the dribble, forcing defenses to guard her as soon as she crosses half court. Defensively, she uses her length to disrupt plays and isn't afraid to dive on the floor for loose balls. Klein thrives in the 3-and-D role and is a player who can break into the Top 50 in the next rankings while competing for recognition as one of the top shooters in the state. She is a must-follow this high school season.

[player_tooltip player_id='514970' first='Laila' last='Barnett'] shows impressive agility on both ends of the floor, using her quick first step to blow by defenders offensively and to force turnovers defensively. She thrives in transition, where she can finish creatively around the rim. Laila has strong shooting form both off the catch and the dribble, with a reliable mid-range game. As she continues to perfect that skill, defenders will struggle to anticipate whether she'll pull up or attack the basket. She also has the ability to draw fouls consistently and is automatic at the free-throw line. Competing on the EYBL circuit this travel season has sharpened her confidence and prepared her for a breakout high school season—one that could propel her into the Top 50 in the next rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='1090912' first='Mamie' last='Burkett'] came off a deep playoff run last season as a freshman, where she showcased hustle and vocal leadership. She has continued to display those qualities in Fall League play, competing physically through contact and making an impact on both ends of the floor. With an expanded role this season, she will be a major factor in helping Bolles fight for a return to the 3A state championship. With a long season ahead, Burkett has a strong opportunity to earn a spot in the Top 50 in the next rankings.

Jazzier Smokes continues to garner attention every time we see her, consistently improving her game. The shifty, quick guard gets by defenders with a lightning-fast first step. At last year's Christmas Tournament in Wesley Chapel, she stood out with her smooth, highlight-worthy handles and instincts in transition. Now transferring to Charlotte High, Smokes will step into a bigger leadership role—giving her a prime opportunity to break into the Top 50 in the next rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='514971' first='Giselle' last='Grant']'s footwork and ability to change pace when attacking the rim—finishing gracefully off either leg—make her a constant threat and unpredictable around the basket. Last season at NSU, she showcased her shooting ability both off the catch, open or contested, while also running the PG position effectively and finding open teammates. As a freshman, she averaged 10.1 PPG and 2.4 STL/G. Now transferring to Mater Lakes Academy to play alongside one of the top scorers in the state, Grant will have even more room to shine.
[player_tooltip player_id='1235117' first='Alessia' last='Chaves-Torres'] caught our eye at Puma Nationals this travel season, showcasing her playmaking ability with some of the nicest pocket passes and no-look feeds, while also knowing when to make the simple play. As a freshman, she led her team in scoring with 14.5 PPG while shooting 40% from the field. After a strong travel season gaining both exposure and confidence, it's expected that she will have an even bigger sophomore campaign—potentially pushing her into the Top 50 in our next rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='1124488' first='Riley' last='Turknett'] showcased in her freshman year her ability to light it up from the perimeter, paired with a high basketball IQ that allows her to consistently anticipate plays and jump passing lanes. She is expected to enter her sophomore season with confidence after an experienced travel season. Her stats from last year will likely be no match for what she produces this season, as it has all the makings of a breakout year.
Where do you go after an undefeated season and a state championship as a freshman? For [player_tooltip player_id='514910' first='Ja'Niya' last='Corbin'], the answer has only been upward. As a freshman, Corbin showcased her ability to get to the rim, score from mid-range and beyond the arc, and explode in transition like a lightning bolt. This travel season, she built on that foundation by displaying improved ball-handling and decision-making. Heading into the new year at Wildwood, Corbin will take on a bigger role. With more experience and confidence, she has the opportunity to find her groove and push into our Top 50 in the next rankings.
