got her ring in Lakeland and earned it. Corbin has a versatile game and she is a selfless player. I saw her in the preseason game shooting threes and taking it to the rack. Her last game of the season she was using her speed and quickness and getting to the free-throw line in the state Championship game. Get use to Corbin in Lakeland. There is a strong chance you will see her there next year. Until then, we will look forward to seeing the talented guard continue to expand her game even more.

Ja’ Niya Corbin stopped by the First Coast earlier this season and left a lasting impression. Corbin is a Freshman player who can score the ball from everywhere on the court, including the perimeter. The young guard is also a speedster on the court who puts pressure and stress on a defense. That traits make it hard on a team to stop her. Corbin also plays well in the transition game and plays with an extra gear when in the open court. She can also defend the opposing guard with tough on the ball defense. The young guard can also cut off driving angles to the rim. She leads her team in points and steals and that sums up her game.

She is a player who can impact the game whether she scores 20 points or 2 points. Corbin is a special player and you see the athleticism, the body control, and the determination throughout the game. In the open court , she does a good job of attacking the defense and can score with the left or right hand. She is an exciting player and her skill level, poise, and confidence are way above that of an average Freshman player.
