Prep Girls Hoops Expo TN: Team Two Evaluations

The high school girls' basketball scene in TN is stacked. A glimpse of this was seen at the Prep Girls Hoop Expo in Tennessee, at Lebanon High School on Sept 28. Here are all the player evaluations from team two at the event.    Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1043275' first='Karlie' last='Everette'] was one of the standout players at the Prep Girls Expo event in TN, and maybe the best shooter.   In the three-on-three session in one game, she had a couple of threes she made from well behind the arc. Because of her shooting ability, her pump fake draws a lot of attention, which she showed she could create off of with a drive in floater or layup.   Even when Everette does not have the ball, she draws a lot of attention when sitting behind the arc. This helps give space for other guards and bigs to create, which was noticeable at the event.     [player_tooltip player_id='1040302' first='Jordan' last='Brown'] is a scrappy and relentless defender.   Throughout the five-on-five session at the Expo event, Brown was either picking up her assignment at the top of half-court or even picking up full court. She was one of the most locked-in players on the defensive side of the ball, and has real potential to become an amazing defender.   Brown had a highlight play on the defensive end at the event. She got a steal that was heading out of bounds, and she was able to jump out and save it, and keep it in play.   On offense, Brown is a solid driver and playmaker.       [player_tooltip player_id='801932' first='Channing' last='Jones'] had one of the most intriguing games out of every player at the event. At the #93 spot, she has a huge chance to rise in the ranks in the upcoming high school season.   At the TN Expo event, she showed great versatility on the offensive end. She has a crossover that covers a lot of ground and has a smooth jumper for her size at 6'0". On the day, through both five-on-five and three play, she made multiple threes and had some crafty buckets around the basket.   On defense, Jones is an elite defender. Her arms are incredibly long, and that, paired with her foot speed, was giving opposing players problems all day at the event.     [player_tooltip player_id='1154969' first='Caidyn' last='Sanders'] is just a pure hooper.   [player_tooltip player_id='1154969' first='Caidyn' last='Sanders'] has an elusive on-ball dribble that helps her create space for her three-ball. Last year, for Houston High School, she displayed her promise as a three-point sniper. She hit three shots behind the arc against the University School of Jackson.   Sanders is also a good on-ball defender, which helps lead to fast breaks. Against West Carroll High School last season, she had five layups in transition. At the #9 rank in the TN class of 2028 rankings, Sanders is definitely someone to keep an eye on. Her ceiling as a player is incredibly high.       [player_tooltip player_id='1302932' first='Khloe' last='Cook'] has some great mechanics on her jumper.   She keeps the ball high and has a quick release that allows her to get her jump shot off.   She has a good three-point and is capable of hitting shots from all three levels. Another trait she has as a player is that she is a great off-the-ball mover. She knows how to fill the empty space on the floor and rotate when she needs to keep the defense moving and offense flowing.       [player_tooltip player_id='1275396' first='Lila' last='Dailey'] brings a lot of potential as a wing. At the drills before the Expo event actually began, she stood out.   Her fundamentals on her defensive slides were among the best in attendance, along with her speed for them. This carried over to three-on-three and five-on-five, as she displayed great off-ball and on-ball defense.   On offense, Dailey is a team player, and is constantly making the play that gives her team the best chance to score, even if she is not the one doing it.     [player_tooltip player_id='1252861' first='Ansley' last='Crawford'] has an intriguing skill set, and her defensive prowess was in full effect at the TN Expo.   She stood out as a versatile wing defender. She has the speed to guard guards, and had the size to guard most wings at the event. In five-on-five, she showed what she could do defensively by jumping a passing lane and securing a steal.   On the offensive end, Crawford showed she was more than capable and comfortable of creating off the dribble, as she displayed solid dribbling skills at the event.     Alyssa Davis has an extremely dynamic offensive game.   On three-on-three at the event, she was taking shots from behind the perimeter without hesitation and was efficient doing so. She also showed off her handles, which generate a lot of space consistently. This skill especially shined in five on five with extended space on the floor to work with.   On offense in five-on-five, she also showed that she was not afraid to finish through contact, by getting an and-one layup during the full-court session. On defense, she is also a relentless defender.     The number one thing that stood out about [player_tooltip player_id='1265432' first='Sasha' last='Foster'] at the Expo event was her post-defense.   Foster, in five-on-five, had to guard bigs who were taller than her almost every time she stepped on the court. She did not back down whatsoever from this challenge and excelled.   Foster had several good shot attempts and had a big block on an attempted layup from one of the tallest players signed up for the Expo. Foster also showed off her above-average rebound ability while in attendance.
