Gilpatrick turned in a sensational week, filling up the stat sheet and leading Broomfield to a perfect 3-0 record. Her length disrupts passing lanes and she racks up steals for Broomfield in their press. She converts turnovers into fast break opportunities with her court vision, setting up teammates for easy buckets. Defenses are scrambling to adjust to her all-around game. Against Rocky Mountain, she used her size and strength to seal defenders for easy layups. Gilpatrick showcased nimble footwork and dominated the offensive glass. On defense, she contests and blocks shots, forcing opponents to rethink their approach. A fantastic week for the standout sophomore.

Each time I watch Northfield, Taylor's game impresses me more. She clamps down on the opposition's top scorer, sprints the floor, and finishes in transition with effortless style. On Thursday against Cherry Creek, Taylor poured in 22 points on just 11 shots, wreaking havoc defensively with eight steals. She turned those takeaways into easy buckets and added two three-pointers for good measure. A sensational two-way showing from the standout junior.

Jones has been unstoppable lately, adding another outstanding performance to her resume. She dropped a 31-point outburst against Ralston Valley on Friday. Her efforts fueled Valor's comeback from an early 16-7 deficit. Jones capped off a Valor 7-0 with a nice baseline pull-up jumper to the end the first quarter. She added two more triples in the second quarter as Valor seized control. Jones has a quick release and continued her torrid shooting from deep, going 5-for-7 from behind the arc.

Ferguson delivered a great performance on Monday evening, dropping 23 points against Columbine in the overtime thriller. Her shooting was on point as she knocked down 3-out-6 from deep. Ferguson was clutch in the closing moments of the game. She calmly drained two free throws with 4 seconds left to send the game into overtime. In the extra period, she came up big again, weaving through the defense for a go-ahead floater. That basket gave the Wildcats a 64-62 lead with 6 seconds left. Ferguson's performance in this thriller proved her star quality.
