Expert Analysis
Evan Bell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Quinn is a crafty point guard who made a positive impact at the PGH Michigan Expo for Team 10 with her poised ball-handling and instincts as a facilitator. She switched hands confidently in the open court and pushed the tempo to create transition scoring opportunities. Quinn sees the court well and fires skip passes to open teammates. Her quick feet help prevent dribble penetration on the defensive end, and she can finish in traffic on strong drives to the rim.

Quinn was one of the 2028 guards who impressed at the Alma Elite Camp. During the 5-on-5 games, she showed confidence from beyond the arc while also making her presence felt on the defensive end with active hands and intense pressure. Quinn did a nice job creating opportunities for her teammates, attacking off the dribble and finding open players with drive-and-kick passes. She also stood out during the skill work, excelling at both the ball-handling and finishing stations. Her ability to contribute as a scorer, playmaker, and defender made Quinn one of the guards who caught my attention throughout the camp.

Quinn was the Michigan newcomer of the day at Hope Elite Camp. She made a loud statement about her value as a next-level prospect. Quinn has a compact build and advanced ball-handling skills that translate to the college game. She set the standard for control, speed, fluidity, and effort during the between-the-legs, lift, dribble series. The word I used to describe her handles was “cat-like quickness”. It looked like she could do the drill with her eyes closed. Her finesse at the rim during stretch finishes was among the best, and she created space in games using a quick, double-tap low crossover dribble. Quinn made a good read off the ball, cutting to the rim for a catch and finish. She’s an effective facilitator and guards her yard well, moving laterally and using her strong frame to deter drives towards the basket.
