The 2028 class in Indiana continues to showcase strong developing frontcourt talent, and this spring provided another look at several centers who are beginning to separate themselves as future impact players. While younger post players often take more time to fully develop, this group already showed flashes of physicality, skill, toughness, and versatility that make them intriguing long-term prospects. Several of these players consistently impacted games through rebounding, rim protection, interior scoring, and energy — all traits that remain critical to winning basketball.

What stood out most about this group was the variety in playing styles. Some players thrive with physical strength and power around the basket, while others bring mobility, touch, and developing face-up ability that gives them additional upside. The modern game values post players who can move, defend, and contribute in multiple ways, and many of these prospects already showed signs of becoming more complete frontcourt players as they continue developing. Their willingness to run the floor, compete defensively, and battle on the glass consistently separated them throughout the AAU season.

Another important takeaway from this group is their competitiveness. The best young post players embrace physical play and consistently bring energy every possession, and that mentality showed up repeatedly this spring. These players competed hard against quality competition and showed they are capable of becoming strong interior anchors for their programs in the future. As they continue gaining experience, adding strength, and refining their offensive skill sets, this class has the potential to produce several high-level frontcourt prospects in Indiana. These are also players that college coaches should already begin monitoring closely as future recruiting targets because of their long-term upside and ability to impact winning basketball.

Peyton showed this spring why she is another power forward prospect worth keeping an eye on in Indiana's 2028 class. She brings good size and physicality to the floor while competing with toughness around the basket. Offensively, Peyton showed flashes of finishing ability inside and did a solid job using her frame to create opportunities in the paint. She also competed well for offensive rebounds and consistently stayed active around the rim.

Defensively, Peyton plays with energy and embraces physical matchups in the post. She rebounds well and works hard protecting the paint while battling for positioning against opposing centers. Her willingness to do the dirty work and compete possession after possession stood out throughout the AAU season. As her confidence and offensive skill set continue developing, Peyton has the potential to become another strong interior presence coming out of the Cathedral program. College coaches should absolutely begin tracking her progress because of the physical tools and competitiveness she brings to the floor.

Hunt continues to establish herself as one of the more intriguing young centers in Indiana because of her size, strength, and physical presence around the basket. She plays with toughness and consistently embraces contact on both ends of the floor. Offensively, Hunt showed flashes of strong touch around the rim while using her body well to establish deep post position. Once she catches the ball in good spots, she has the strength to finish through defenders and create scoring opportunities inside.

Defensively, Hunt impacts the game with rebounding and rim protection. She competes hard on the glass and consistently battles for position against opposing post players. Her ability to contest shots and protect the paint gives her additional value defensively. She also runs the floor well for a player at her position and continues improving her overall mobility. As she develops more consistency offensively and continues polishing her footwork, Hunt has the potential to become one of the stronger post players in Indiana's 2028 class. She is definitely a player college coaches should already have on their radar moving forward.

Ash showed throughout the spring that she has the tools to become a productive interior presence at the high school level. She brings energy and physicality whenever she steps on the floor and consistently competes hard around the basket. One of the stronger parts of her game is her activity level. Ash runs the floor well, rebounds aggressively, and works hard to establish positioning inside offensively and defensively.

Offensively, she showed improving touch around the rim and flashed the ability to finish through contact. She competes for second-chance opportunities and gives her team extra possessions with her effort on the glass. Defensively, Ash embraces physical play and consistently battles against opposing forwards and centers. Her motor and toughness stand out, and as her offensive skill set continues to expand, she has the upside to become an impactful frontcourt player within the class. College coaches should continue monitoring her development closely because of the energy and toughness she consistently brings.

Beaderstadt continues trending upward as a young center prospect because of her size, strength, and ability to control the paint. She consistently impacted games this spring with her rebounding and interior defense. Her instincts around the basket allow her to position herself well, and she showed the ability to secure rebounds in traffic against quality competition.

Offensively, Beaderstadt showed flashes of touch in the post and competed hard for second-chance scoring opportunities. She uses her body effectively around the rim and plays with a physical edge that makes her difficult to move inside. Defensively, she anchors the paint well and competes with toughness. What makes her especially intriguing is that she already brings consistent value defensively while still having room to continue developing offensively. As her confidence and scoring package continue improving, she has the potential to become a very reliable post player. College coaches should already be keeping tabs on her progression because of her physical tools and interior presence.

Byer showed throughout the AAU season why she is a player worth monitoring closely moving forward. She plays with energy and toughness around the basket and consistently competes hard every possession. Offensively, Byer showed the ability to finish around the rim while also creating extra scoring opportunities through offensive rebounding and hustle plays. Her willingness to battle inside stood out repeatedly this spring.

Defensively, Byer rebounds well and competes with physicality in the paint. She embraces contact and consistently works hard protecting the basket against opposing post players. Her overall upside is intriguing because of the combination of size, effort, and developing offensive skill she brings to the floor. As she continues refining her footwork and becoming more consistent offensively, Byer has the potential to emerge as a strong frontcourt player in the 2028 class. College coaches should already begin following her development because players with her toughness and motor are always valuable at the next level.

Oniyide brings strong long-term potential because of her physical tools, athleticism, and developing interior game. Throughout the spring, she showed flashes of being able to impact the game as a rebounder, finisher, and defender around the basket. Her length and mobility allow her to cover ground effectively in the paint, and she consistently competed hard on the glass.

One thing that stood out about Oniyide was her activity level. She runs the floor well and creates scoring opportunities through effort and positioning. Offensively, she showed flashes of touch around the rim while continuing to develop confidence in her scoring ability. Defensively, she alters shots and uses her length effectively against opposing post players. As she continues adding strength and refining her overall skill set, Oniyide has the tools to become one of the more impactful young centers in Indiana's 2028 class. College coaches should already have interest in tracking her development because of her athletic upside and physical tools.
