PGH EXPO AZ Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The PGH EXPO in Arizona was full of some great young talent. The girls brought the intensity. This was a very fun and competitive event. Lots of future stars on the rise in Arizona. She sees the court at a high level making great reads and strong passes. A point guard who made everyone on her team better. Very skilled with the ball. Rebounds very well and is quick to find an outlet in transition. Hustles hard. Very skilled handle and tremendous footwork. Plays every possession with high intensity and plays well through physicality. Doesn't get phased by much and sets the pace for the game. She attacks the basket with confidence, slicing through the defense and finishing at the rim. Had some of the better footwork at the Expo. Strong handle and a hard bounce with the ball. Moves effectively off the ball constantly looking to create opportunities. Screens very well and quick to roll for the open look. Shot the three ball very well in both the 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 events. She attacks the basket and plays consistently off two feet. Good strength. Has a very explosive step and is unstoppable when she gains momentum and drives the lane. Showed good ability to knock down the three ball off the dribble and made contested shots with ease. One of the better all-around scorers in the gym. Very unselfish player who consistently made the right plays for her team. An ‘extra pass' player. Plays the pick and roll patiently and made great passes that lead to scoring opportunities. Great awareness. One of the better help defenders at the Expo. Has a very good pump fake and an explosive step to beat her defender. Don't let her unselfishness fool you she showed the ability to score the ball very well from just about anywhere. Good lateral speed and movement to keep her opponent from advancing. Matched up very well against some of the better guards at the event. Offensively, is patient and takes what the defense gives her. Makes the quick step and drive the lane hard almost always scoring or getting to the line. One of the top players in transition. She showed to be a high percentage three-point shooter. Her ability to knock them down off the dribble was impressive. Has a skilled dribble and showed some top-notch footwork. Was consistently shaking her defender. Knows how to create space and scores very well. Changes pace and direction at a high level. One of the top guards regardless of class at the event.
