The players listed below are some of the top guards in a deep class who can play at the collegiate level, some have already committed.
Let’s take a look at some of the top guards in the class of 2021.
Megan Pohs Megan Pohs 5'3" | PG Mullen | 2021 State CO (Mullen)
Megan Pohs Megan Pohs 5'3" | PG Mullen | 2021 State CO Pohs is a player who can create scoring opportunities for herself, as well as for her team. She plays with great pace, allowing her to make the smart reads and she is shifty. Pohs is tough to guard because of her competitive drive and ability to knock down shots. She averaged 11.6 points per game on 103-for-251 (41 percent) shooting from the field as a junior in 2019-20 and shined while pushing the tempo in transition. Pohs also averaged 2.7 assists and 1.6 steals per game, and is currently at 822 total points for her career. With her ability to stretch the floor, she shot 60 for 153 (39 percent) from behind the arc.
KaCee Kyle KaCee Kyle 5'8" | CG Cherry Creek | 2021 State CO (Cherry Creek)
Kyle is a player who does well finishing around the rim through contact. She is great at attacking and drawing fouls, which puts pressure on the defense. Kyle is also a willing shooter, going 82 for 231 (35 percent) from the field and 24 for 89 (27 percent) from behind the arc this past winter. She averaged eight points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. She also moves her feet well on the defensive end, keeping her player in front, and moves well without the ball on offense.
Kylie Kravig Kylie Kravig 5'9" | PG University | 2021 State CO (University)
Kravig has a high basketball IQ, making the right reads on the offensive end. She loves to get her teammates the ball and is a great passer. Kravig shows the ability to knock down open shots shooting the ball 94 for 220 (43 percent) from the field. She averaged 13.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 3.8 steals per game. Kravig will do whatever it takes to help her team win, diving on the floor for loose balls. She can also put the ball on the floor and get to the rim with a variety of finish moves.

Timiya Guevara Timiya Guevara 5'4" | PG Denver South | 2021 State CO Guevara is one of the top scorers in Colorado and averaging 22 points per game, which was third most in the state, while shooting 167 for 324 (52 percent) from the field last winter. The soon-to-be Rebels senior is a player who can play on both ends of the floor. Guevara is a decorated scorer that has great change of pace to her game. Guevara being so crafty with the ball creates opportunities for her teammates. She also averaged 5.8 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 5.8 steals per game. Guevara is also a player who can light it up from behind the arc, shooting 43 for 98 (44 percent) from long range and scoring a season high in points with 38 against Golden on Feb. 10.

Genevieve Gudino Genevieve Gudino 5'6" | CG Erie | 2021 State CO Gudino is a player that can get it going on the offensive end, and score bunches. She does a great job stretching out the defense with her ability to knock down shots from behind the arc. Gudino is a player that can get her teammates scoring opportunities with her ability to dish to open teammates. She averaged 14.2 points per game on 147-334 (44 percent) from the field, 27-81 (33 percent) from behind the arc. To go along with her points per game she also averaged 4.8 rebounds, 3.2 assist, and 3.3 steals.
