[player_tooltip player_id="92521" first="Mackenzie" last="Hurd"], 5-10 2022, Nelsonville York
One of the best all-around players in Ohio, and she often flies under the radar. She has a very complete game with excellent ball skills, is a very good passer and is a productive teammate. Can score from anywhere on the floor, has good range and is able to finish shots around the rim. (feature photo above)
[player_tooltip player_id="92513" first="Allison" last="Basye"], 5-11 2022, Huntington Ross
Allison (pictured right) has great range and can light up her opponent from out behind the arc. Try to take that away? She can also get by her defender and can finish at the rim. She is is able to use her height to rebound well, and can guard multiple positions. Excited for a big senior season. Very good basketball IQ as she uses her knowledge to be a great team leader. Headed to Northern Kentucky.
[player_tooltip player_id="159366" first="Cameron" last="Zinn"], 5-10 2022, McArthur Vinton County
She is a multisport standout, as she will continue her volleyball career at the next level, but just as easily could have played basketball in college. She is very poised and is a scorer in the paint, can use her height as a mismatch issue. Has good range also, able to beat you in many ways. Her athleticism is a huge bonus for her game. (pictured left)
[player_tooltip player_id="93545" first="Tomi" last="Hinkle"], 5-7 2023, Proctorville Fairland
Tomi is able to play either guard spot and is strong in both. She is very fast with the ball and can get anywhere on the floor she wants. She is not only a great athlete, but she also rebounds well from the point guard position. Does a great job with on-ball defense pressuring the ball without giving up the paint.
[player_tooltip player_id="217328" first="Airah" last="Lavy"], 5-9 2024, Nelsonville York
Made a nice jump in the latest ranking, moving up to #26 and had a very productive summer. Airah (pictured right) has put on a good show at every event I saw this summer as her game continues to grow. The first thing that stands out is her prolific perimeter game. Can score from deep range, or can put the ball on the floor and get by her defender. Good midrange, can finish at the rim with either hand.
