This 2024 class is really good at the top and has some quality depth to it and there are more and more players emerging all the time. Our latest update expands the list to 70 players and has seen some movement in the top 10. Here’s a look at the biggest stock risers in our Sophomore rankings. Remember, these rankings are predominantly based on college potential.
Kallie Housley Kallie Housley 5'6" | SG Corbin | 2024 State KY , Corbin – Kallie moves into 2024 after being a 2023 before SB 128 was instituted. Heading into the season, Housley is on the short list of best Sophomores in the 13th region and should be a big time difference maker in Corbin’s push for a trip to Rupp. She’s a fluid scorer who will be a scholarship level player by graduation.
Savannah Gardner Savannah Gardner 6'0" | SF Christian Academy Louisville | 2024 State KY , CAL – Gardner was a standout at our PH Top 250 last month because she plays super hard. Even in a camp setting, Savannah was diving for loose balls, getting back tips and making the extra pass for a teammate to score. Her offensive game is still coming along but Gardner is a good athlete who excels at defense and rebounding.
Kristen Whited Kristen Whited 5'5" | SG Pikeville | 2024 State KY , Pikeville – One of the best pure shooters in the state, Kristen thrives as an off the ball scorer but has shown increasing ability to play on the ball and get into the paint and finish or create open looks for teammates. Pikeville has one of the best young backcourts around and are going to be a force in the mountains for years to come.
Dea Bradley Dea Bradley 5'5" | CG Hart County | 2024 State KY , Hart County – Hart County is trending way up as a program and a lot of that is due to the abilities of Dea. Bradley does the majority of her damage as as a slasher but has proven a capable shooter after knocking down 33% of her three point attempts last season. If she can get to the free throw line more this season, don’t be surprised to see Dea averaging over 20 points per game.
