I said that if you tagged me, I promised I would take a look and give you my thoughts. So, here it is. I may not get all of them in there in this one, but stay tuned, there is always more to come. Thanks to the players who tagged me in their tape.

Braci is our No. 35-ranked player in the sophomore class of Oklahoma players. She is a great young player with tremendous handles who features a nice stop and pop and the ability to score from every level. She is very quick and plays some good one-on-one defense. Of course, we knew all of this going in. But, what did we learn from the video? Well, first off, there’s the three-point shot. Quick release, virtually unblockable because she received it in a nice shooting position and got it out of there. Nice high release. Next up is a steal. Obviously a good basketball IQ. She sees the opposing guard is trapped and diagnosis exactly where the pass is going to go and snags it. Another three. Another steal. Another three. Then look how the defense has to come forward aggressively because now they know she’s a shooter. What does Braci do? She blows by them with great quickness, good handles and a tough finish at the rim. The next play – the one at 00:28 – is probably my favorite on the tape. Nyberg snags a rebound by outjumping a bigger player. She steps out, reads the defense, and then uses her speed and handles to weave through the lane and make a tough finish at the rim. This in a nutshell shows you exactly what she is working with. Just a great all-around player. Honestly, she may need to be higher than No. 35 in the rankings. Take a look coaches!

Addison is No. 76 in our sophomore rankings. What she lacks in size, she definitely makes up for in heart and hustle. She is a tremendous shooter and can absolutely fill it up from long range. All of that being said, let’s go to the tape and see what it is her coaches wanted me to see when they tagged me in this one. Let me start by saying, she doesn’t look 5’2″ anymore. I know it’s a small school and there are smaller players out there, but Addison looks a few inches taller than the last time I saw her. As the video starts, we see her finish strong inside. Also, we see her get absolutely plowed through after a lay-up and no foul called. Bad no-call, but it’s a chance to show how tough she is – and she is, very tough. Nice, quick release on the three. Good explosion and elevation with the legs, very important for a player who doesn’t have the height of some others. I have seen Harris play before and I know that she is a very good passer and also a very, very good defender. Include some of that in the tape and it will really help college coaches (and scouts) to get a more full picture of everything that she can do. Just a suggestion.
Addi Dodder | 5-10 PF | Jenks | 2025 | @AddiDodder
Addi is the No. 38-ranked player in the absolutely loaded class of 2025. She has good size, a great basketball IQ and is fast and moves very well for a “big.” The video she tagged me in is one in which her team won 38-37 and she scored 24 of the 38 points! That’s pretty impressive, regardless of what the video shows. But, we’re gonna take a look anyway. It’s what we do. So, here we go! The video starts with good movement inside. She gets a pass and instead of dribbling or bringing the ball down low, she keeps it high like a big should in the middle. Good strong finish. Next thing you know, Addi is back outside shooting from deep. The rest of the tape has her scoring inside with both hands, running the floor and outrunning every single player on the court. She shows great hands inside to receive even the hardest inlet pass. Just a great highlight video – minus any defensive action – though you get the feeling that with her size and strength she probably gets a ton of blocks down low. I can’t wait to see her in person again. I have a feeling that No. 38 was way too low to rank this very good all-around athlete! Thanks for tagging me in the video!
*Stay tuned for more video dissection and make sure to keep tagging me everyone!*
