Claxton is a left-handed forward for the Lady Lions. She has good length and a willingness to want to play face-up to the basket. Carmyn is the youngster sister of Brooklyn Nets player Nic Claxton. She moves well on the floor and at times seems to be a better fit on the defensive end of the floor. Claxon needs to work on her offensive game down the road.

Carmyn Claxton does a nice job playing inside getting rebounds for her team. She can step outside and make the shot from around the perimeter as well. She had a nice jab step and attacking baseline using the opening to get the points.

Claxton has really confidence playing with the SC Lady Sixers this spring on the Grassroots Circuit. Carmyn a left-handed slender stretch forward likes to play face-up to the basket. She really likes to play in the short-corner at times and can extend out to the three-point line with her shooting. Carmyn has a nice soft touch from the foul line. Look for her to keep improving her game heading into the July period.

What makes a program such as Legacy Early College’s so revered is how it continuously stockpiles talent across all classes. A textbook example of this is the Lions’ rising star big who stands at an even six feet. That is a height advantage that proves itself useful when making plays in the post on offense or looking to prevent a high-percentage shot from going in as a defender. Claxton ran on the grassroots circuit this past AAU season under the Adidas umbrella with Upward Stars 3SSB 2025. Lions fans have plenty to look forward to with this young up-and-comer sporting its colors.
