Kniyah Dumas was one the best guards around on the day. She may not be the tallest player on the court but what she lacks in size she makes up for with talent. Kniyah is a 3-level scoring guard that uses her quickness and crafty handles. She is always moving down hill and that keeps defenders off-balanced. Along with that, she is the heart of the team defensively as her hands are always in the passing lanes and she applies full-court pressure.
Faith Nelson- Lady Blackhawks 2026
Faith Nelson was by far the hardest worker on the court in each game she played this weekend. Her biggest contribution to her team was being in the right place at the right time for most of the day. Faith posed as a matchup nightmare for opposing teams with her ability to play inside out. She was too fast for the bigger defenders and too strong for the guards and she is going to be a player that dominates every time out for the next few seasons.
Emmy Tecu- Lady Roughriders 2025
Emmy Tecu is a fun player to watch. She plays the game the right way every time she steps on the court. Her high IQ and skill level allow her to impact the game by having the ball in her hands. Defensively, she is constantly locked in and refuses to get scored on at any point during the game.
Savannah Weiss Savannah Weiss 5'1" | PG Fairview | 2025 State CO -BC Denver 2025
Savannah Weiss Savannah Weiss 5'1" | PG Fairview | 2025 State CO will be a name to know for the next three years and the freshmen guard had herself a day. She was easily one of the best shooters for the first day of Rocky Mountain Mayhem, knocking down every open look that her team gave her. What impressed me most about Savannah was her ability to handle the ball in traffic and create for her teammates.
Aliyah Herron Aliyah Herron 5'8" | PG Northfield | 2025 State CO – PSB
Aliyah Herron Aliyah Herron 5'8" | PG Northfield | 2025 State CO in my opinion is a star in the making. She has all of the intangibles you’d like to see in a young guard. Offensively, she is patient and waits for plays to develop. In transition, she pushes the ball which puts constant pressure on the defense. For most of the tournament Aliyah was asked the carry the offensive load for her team and handled it well. She’s a tough player to defend and was a big standout at the event.
Laporsha Allen-Lady Blackhawks 2026
Laporsha Allen is a raw talent that could possibly become a well-known prospect once she gets into high school. She’s a big body that can bang in the paint as well as create for herself off the dribble. Defensive paint scoring for opposing teams while Laporsha is in the game drops rapidly as she is the ultimate rim protector and for the most part does it without fouling.
