6 Teams to Watch

Tecumseh

They lost a very good guard in Mae Mastin who is now playing in college. Back for Tecumseh is senior post player [player_tooltip player_id='216006' first='Gabby' last='Russell'] who was first-team all-league last season. [player_tooltip player_id='520292' first='Emma' last='Garber'] is also back and was also all-league. She is a very good shooter and handles the ball well. [player_tooltip player_id='521314' first='Madi' last='Moore'] is a senior who is a solid force on the court, can play good defense.

North Union

Looking at their returning players, they very well could be the best team in the entire conference but time will well. They return their top seven players including first-team all-league Jada Davis and [player_tooltip player_id='403980' first='Abbey' last='Price']. Also back are two players who were second-team Audrey Benedict and Zoe Wedding. A 20-win team last year with everyone back.

Urbana

One of the players who we really enjoy watching at PGH is [player_tooltip player_id='319068' first='Peyton' last='Mounce'], who is ranked pretty high in her class in the rankings. She does it all with the ball, and she really did a lot of good things at a scrimmage I saw last weekend. Lyza Forson is a sophomore like Peyton and is strong in the paint but also has good range. They also have a promising freshman point guard [player_tooltip player_id='538750' first='Alex' last='Dixon'] who is solid. They look to contend in their division.

Jonathan Alder

They lost one of the best players in the entire area when Mary Ferrito graduated as the Player of the Year in her side of the conference. [player_tooltip player_id='216013' first='Evan' last='Platfoot'] (feature photo above) returns as a player who returns and will see her role increase a lot this season. She is a player who can score. The problem is, who else steps up? Time will tell but they are a traditionally strong program.

Indian Lake

The Lakers return a very strong senior duo of [player_tooltip player_id='270604' first='Stephanie' last='Altstaetter'] and [player_tooltip player_id='93550' first='Allison' last='Kinney']. Both are seniors who look to help lead the Lakers to the top of their division. Stephanie is a strong physical post player who finished in the top three of the league in rebounding. while Allison is a taller guard who is capable of scoring from the outside. [player_tooltip player_id='533091' first='Mackenzie' last='Dixon'] had a good freshman season and hopes to do bigger things this season.

London

Alana Kramer is one of the top returning players in the league as her numbers showed last season. She is a good leader and has good court skills. Also back is Kassie Patterson who is a junior who should be able to contribute more this season. The other returning all-conference player is Natalie Zabloudil. Look for them to definitely challenge this season.

Keep an eye on these players also!

Lexi Robinson, 5-10 2024, Bellefontaine

[player_tooltip player_id='451625' first='Quinlan' last='Zedeker'] – Bellefontaine

Keirsten Hall, 6-1 2023, Kenton Ridge

Abby Yukon, 5-7 2023, Graham
