I took notes and I noticed players that made a big impact for their school and I liked what I saw. Here are a few comments and feedback from my observation at the tournament, and I look forward to checking in throughout the season on the players and the success of their team.
Addy Johnson is a hard nose player that gives 100% effort every time she steps on the floor. She doesn’t require the ball very much but when it is in her hands, good things happen. Defensively she will guard the opposing teams’ best player and effectively slow them down. She is locked and will play physical if needed. She can shoot the ball from deep, can attacks the basket, and finishes at the rim.
Lexi Hensley
Lexi Hensley
Lexi Hensley: is a spark plug that provides so much energy for her team. She is tenacious on the defensive end and is controlled on the offensive end. High-basketball IQ that plays to win. She will hit the shot from 3 and will attack the basket or pull up in the mid range. When she is on the court, good things happen.
Gentry Baldwin: The floor general for Bixby, she controls the pace of the game and gets everyone on her team in their spots to succeed. Will advance the ball up the floor as soon as she touches it. She has the ability to give you 20 points every night but puts her teammates success ahead of hers. Unselfish player that will do well at the next level.

Brynn Daniel Brynn Daniel 5’9″ | SF Bixby | 2024 State OK : is a solid player that you could count on. She plays her role and doesn’t do anything out of her ability. She plays with confidence and will shoot when open and make big shots early in the game to help her team. Defensively she is active and brings toughness to her team. I have seen her grow as a player and if she continues to develop, she will be a difference maker for the Lady Spartans.
Azjah Reeves is a shifty point guard that handles the ball with good pace and poise. She plays with her head up, surveying the court looking for the right basketball play. She is capable of playing forceful but she remains controlled and focuses on her role as the lead guard. She has the capacity to score in bunches and light it up from behind the 3-point line and did a good job mixing is up offensively. Defensively she works, picking the ball up and staying in front of the ball along with rotating properly on the weak side. Fundamentally sound, and fun to watch.
Jordyn Anderson is a go getter! She handles the ball pretty well and will attack the gaps with no hesitation. She hit the open jumper and not afraid to finish at the rim through contact. Sets the pace for her team and holds her own on a talented Harding Prep team.
Highlights
Baylor Frantz: Baylor is an explosive point guard that is a threat from all areas on the court. She is shifty off the dribble and knows how to handle pressure. I am impressed of how easy she flows on the court – she is a ready shooter, attacks the gaps when open, and is able to make plays for teammates. She is a 3-level scorer and facilitates well. Baylor made an impact in the first two games but did not play in the last game vs Broken Arrow.
KK Peeler: has stepped up and has done a good job in her role as the lead guard for the Huskies. She handles the ball well even under pressure, she is poise and takes care of the ball. She brings good effort on defense and will surprise you and hit a big 3-pointer in crunch time. Though she does a good job playing her role, I would like to see her be a little more aggressive on the offensive end. I have seen her hit big shots in games and that might be a difference maker for the Huskies when it’s time to defend their title in the playoffs.
