Kim Davis Powell and John McGraw got together to host the 2022 Show-N-Prove Showcase in Bradenton, FL at IMG Academy. The two-day event featured some of the state’s top players across the 2023-2030 classes. We were in attendance for both days and will break down the performance of the events top players. Here we look at the top performances on day 1 by the class of 2025 and 2026.
Class of 2025
Kelis Fisher Kelis Fisher 5'9" | PG IMG Academy | 2025 State FL – 5’9 Guard (IMG Academy)
Fisher was fun to watch and an impressive talent. She will be a major newcomer to the rankings, relocating to IMG Academy from Maryland, moving into the top 5, and potentially the # 1 spot! She is very confident and unassuming with the ball in her hands but is a dynamic playmaker who is a threat to put the ball in the basket, every time she touches the ball. She can knock down open 3s, go by defenders in transition with ease and grace, and drop dimes like she has eyes in the back of her head.
Iloi James – 5’11 Forward (Lakewood HS / Southeast United)
James was a new face for me. The long, athletic forward was very effective for her Lakewood squad. Her long wingspan allowed her to get a number of rebounds out of area and made her a very effective pressure defender. She can play both the wing and the forward spot and will be a newcomer to the rankings and a potential major stock riser!
Alahni Lovett Alahni Lovett 5'5" | PG Lakewood | 2025 State FL – 5’6 Guard (Lakewood HS / Southeast United)
Lovett is an aggressive, dynamic scorer who is extremely effective with the ball in her hands. She crosses up her defenders, getting into the paint, scoring at the rim, and creating easy shots for her teammates. She plays hard and aggressive on both ends and is the heart of her team.
Holland Harris Holland Harris 6'2" | SF Monteverde Academy | 2025 State FL – 6’1 Wing / Forward (Faith Christian / FGB)
Harris is a stock riser in the class of 2025, with long, athletic build that is a versatile defender that can defend on the interior and on the perimeter. At 6’1, she is a presence in the paint, blocking shots, and is an active offensive and defensive rebounder. Not just an interior player, she can score the ball from deep beyond the 3-point line and has the ability to the put the ball to the floor, attacking the rim.
Nyla McFadden Nyla McFadden 5'11" | SF St. Thomas Aquinas | 2025 State FL – 5’11 Wing / Forward (St. Thomas Aquinas / Essence)
McFadden stood out in the showcase for being an active perimeter player who rebounded the ball, defended multiple positions, scored at the rim, and played with a ton of energy. Her offensive skill is still raw but the potential is there as she puts it all together. Her long, wiry build along with her activity level make her a high level prospect with a high ceiling. She is one to continue to watch.
Class of 2026
Ciara Hayes Ciara Hayes 5'5" | PG Faith Christian Academy | 2026 State FL – 5’6 Point Guard (Hagerty HS / Central Florida Elite)
Hayes has been one of the top guards in the class of 2026 for a couple years, showcasing her savvy ball skills and natural scoring ability. She plays mature for her age and is a bucket getter. She can score in a variety of ways, attacking off the bounce, crossing up defenders in the half court, knocking down open 3s when left open and pulling up off the bounce when not able to get all the way to the paint.
Karolina Ramirez Karolina Ramirez 5'6" | PG The Benjamin | 2026 State FL – 5’7 Guard (Benjamin School / G-Nation)
Ramirez is a talented, young playing making guard who plays with confidence with the ball in her hands and is a skilled offensive playmaker who has a smooth stroke and shoots a high percentage from the field. Ramirez plays mature for her age, never getting too high, never getting too low – she plays under control and with poise like a seasoned upperclassmen.
