Wilson, a 5'8 point guard, is a well rounded player who can either be the facilitator for whatever team she is on or the primary scorer. She is clearly at her best when the ball is in her hands and she has control of her squad. I'd like to mention that most of the time her team is also at their best when she has the ball in her hands. A common factor when Wilson plays. In this Players Rankings Update Wilson moves up to #44. With how she is playing and the minutes she is going to see on the varsity floor this winter, I expect Wilson to open up some eyes and make a fast impact moving forward over the next few seasons for the Xavier Saints. This spring she also has really stepped up and shown that she is a solid overall point guard, who controls pace and tempo of the contests she plays in. When you think about a point guard nowadays everyone thinks about Steph Curry and scorers who can shoot threes from deep. That's not what Becker is. She is a player who controls the speed of the game, creates for others off of the catch or dribble, and scores whenever she see's a weaker defender in front of her. College coaches want a point guard who controls things and they can trust. You get that with Becker. I'm sure this winter she is going to put together a nice individual season once again with the hope of helping her team win some more games overall. Something more than do-able with her skill set, but we will just have to wait and see. She is more confident of a ball handler, more of a fundamental and sound defender, and most important she seems overall to understand the game a little bit more than before. I expect the three point shooting from King to stay consistent moving forward but it says a lot with what she is doing with the rest of her game. Her dedication and hard work has landed her at #47 in this update. An accomplishment to be proud of but not satisfied with looking at the big picture. Fischer is a 5'10 combo guard with a versatile skill-set. She understands time and spacing well while noticing what the defense is giving her and her team when they are running their sets. Fischer is also the type of player who can initiate the offense or create for others around her because of her offensive prowess with the ball in her hands. In this update Ava comes in at #17 with a real chance to move up over these next few months if she can put a nice summer together. With how dedicated she is to the game, something that is definitely in consideration and possible. Doeschot is a bucket. A player who averaged one of the highest PPG in the state last season throughout all classes. When you look at guards with the ambition to play at the next level you need to be able to score somewhat. That will not be a problem for Sydney, as she is an elite three level scorer whenever the ball is in her possession. Other than that she has a nice handle with an elite change of direction when she comes down the floor. Doeschot put together a fantastic AAU season for her ETG Midwest team. She is doing everything and anything asked of her by her coaches and succeeding at all of it. College coaches, if you don't know the name, learn it now, [player_tooltip player_id='524262' first='Sydney' last='Doeschot'] is a real hooper.
