About Nevaeh
Expert Analysis
Avi Burmenko | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Nevaeh has a polished mid-range game, using moves like spin fadeaways to create space and score. She attacks the basket aggressively and doesn’t allow defenders to dictate her path. She moves well without the ball, quickly getting her feet set to knock down perimeter shots. Around the rim, she’s a strong finisher who can score with either hand.

What a championship performance from Nevaeh. She was the steady hand her team needed, keeping everything under control and making sure the Monarchs stayed in the fight every step of the way. Zero turnovers in the first half — that is not luck, that is a player who understands the value of possession and has the skill and discipline to protect it. She was a coach on the floor in every sense, reading the game and making the right decision before the defense could react. Her ability to attack the lane and consistently find Tanya inside was a chess move that paid dividends all night

Nevaeh fulfills her point guard role as an on-court extension of her coach, running the offense and making the most of her scoring opportunities. She became a 1,000-point scorer earlier this season and continues to score efficiently. Defensively, she has very active hands, picking opponents’ pockets and turning steals into fast-break chances. Out of the pick-and-roll, she can attack the rim, finish with a floater, knock down the shot if defenders go under the screen, while finding open teammates.

is a skilled point guard who affects a game on both ends. Neveah has a good handle and does a good job attacking the rim. She plays with a tremendous motor and is really physically strong. Her ability to drive helps open up her passing, and I think she is someone to watch heading into her Junior year as a riser.

A starter as a freshman and looks like she will be the point guard of the future at Menchville. A good two-way player, Nevaeh is quick and fast off the dribble and can get to the basket. Even at her size she’s working on her combo guard skills with Griffin running the point. A good defender that has a big role on this team that is looking to make a deep push in the states!
