Charlotte was impressive at the scrimmage and at Spooky Nook. She looked comfortable handling the ball under pressure and the release on her shot was really quick. She has range from well beyond the arc and will look to attack the basket when the lane is there. She rose a little over ten spots with her recent play and it appears that she is ready to take her game to the next level.

Charlotte started to heat up as the day went on, gaining confidence with each touch of the ball. After knocking down her first three-pointer, her energy and body language changed, she began to play with a visible rhythm and swagger. She followed that up with back-to-back threes on consecutive possessions, forcing defenders to extend out to the perimeter. On the very next trip down the floor, she showcased her versatility by putting the ball on the deck and finishing strong at the rim. Charlotte was one of the most consistent shooters in the gym, equally effective from short and long range. Her ability to stretch the floor not only created spacing for her teammates but also opened up new scoring opportunities for herself, proving she’s more than just a spot up shooter.

Charlotte has a great motor and plays very hard. She has good length and size at the wing position which allows her to rebound well and finish at the rim. Throughout game play she made multiple 3-pointers and consistently pushed the pace and got out in transition for easy layups. Her versality on the defensive end allowed her to guard multiple positions. Look for her recruiting to really pick up this winter!

Charlotte is a good finisher attacking the basket and can make perimeter shots. She is continuing to improve and we will watch closely during the playoffs to see how much further she can rise. She may play a key role in another Cubs championship game.
