K.T. stepped up multiple times this weekend to produce for her Missouri Phenom – Iowa hub team. TeBockhorst, the 5’7 PG, is coming off of a successful Freshman campaign with Independence High School and she is looking to continue to build off of that. To kick things off we saw her put up some decent numbers in the scoring, rebounding, and defending categories through out Saturday. She was someone that her team could look to in close contests to make some sort of play to help her squad to victory and I hope she keeps that up because that is the type of prospect she should always be whenever she takes the floor. She is skilled enough and has the intangibles. Now it’s just about making it happen.

I like the game that TeBockhorst plays out on the hardwood. She isn’t super flashy or in it for praise. She just goes out on the court and tries to make plays in one way or another. She seems to be someone that does a good job listening to what her coaches want out of her and she isn’t the type that is going to cost you the game with several stupid mistakes in a row. TeBock has been steady to start off this AAU season. She put up some good numbers over the last few days and I think she will put up even more efficient numbers with time as everyone starts to figure out their roles on this squad.

did not let her youth show against a veteran opponent in CPU. She’s a speedy player who frazzled their ball handlers and forced over 5 turnovers on the night. Offensively I thought Kiersten showed maturity and poise while attacking downhill. She knows how to assess the floor at a high level and responds with a flurry of different moves at the rim, including a silky pro hop. She is also more than capable firing off the dribble, where she sunk a pretty behind the back + step back early in the first quarter. I also really like how she sprints to cut you off and uses her body to chest blow on defense. TeBockhorst did not let a tight game get the best of her and finished with a solid stat line — 12 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals.

of Independence. You might not see Independence compete all the time as they are a smaller program but I promise you, TeBockhorst is a difference maker and she would be in any other program across the state as well for the most part. She is a natural talent with a great head on her shoulders. She isn’t the tallest or most athletic but she makes up for that with steady play on both offense and defense. The Top 25 Rankings for the 2029 Class drop tomorrow and I expect TeBockhorst to be somewhere included. I’m not sure exactly where yet but her production speaks volumes already and she is talented to the naked eye so it’s only up from here as long as she keeps on working.

should be a constant this Winter at Independence High School with how talented she is. TeBockhorst is a natural at the guard position. She can lead the offense with her savvy-ness or she can pass the ball and move into space within her system. It doesn’t matter where she is located, she is talented enough to be able to handle anything thrown her way but she really does thrive from the PG position. With the competition level she will face over the next eight months, I’m sure K.T. will put up some numbers before you know it this Winter. She just has to stay hungry.

Every-time I look at the box score or score sheet for the Missouri Phenom 14U – Iowa team, Kiersten Tobock is on there stuffing the stats in a number of different ways. She is showing up scoring, assisting, and rebounding more than most, while holding her own defensively as well. It’s always tough to grade players going into high school to a certain extend but with how consistent Tebock has been the past six months, I’m sure that won’t change up moving into the high school ranks this Fall.

is going to take the state of Iowa by storm at Independence High School. I wouldn’t be surprised if KT leads her team to a State appearance as a Freshman either. She is that solid of a prospect. TeBockhorst is like how we described Sievers above, a natural. She understands the game at a very high level for her age and it seems to come to her organically. It’s never forced or something that seems like a chore. Instead, she is always having a good time and that’s what it’s all about. Finding happiness while competing. It’s early and we do need to see KT against some high level competition but so far, so good from the skilled PG this Spring on the road.

‘s athletic ability is very impressive for her age. TeBockhorst’s play-style right now would be defined as act first, ask questions later. This is an individual that reacts really well in real time and she lets her natural instincts do the talking. On her Missouri Phenom team, she is considered as one of the most athletic that they have to offer. When it comes to her position, as a guard TeBockhorst competes as more of a natural PG than anything else. She can play off the ball but she is better with it in her possession in all honesty. At this point in a career it’s really early but I am liking what I’ve seen out of TeBockhorst so far.
