It has become one of the premier non-live Spring events in the Midwest over the past few years. My availability allowed me just a few hours on Sunday, but in my time in Westfield and Lebanon, I was able to see several players perform well. I was also hunting some teams I haven't seen or seen much of thus far this Spring. Below is a look at eight members of the 2026 and 2027 classes who I felt were worth a mention based on what I saw.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><font color="FFFFFF">.</font></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["567130"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Gracyn was already bigger/stronger than most of her peers as a Freshman, but this Spring she looks like a Senior. She is strong, athletic, but she also has some length and quickness to her. She is built like many athletic power forwards, but believe me, she has touch from the perimeter, ball skill to get by a defender and change directions, and she has really good vision for a player her age. What's scary to me is, I don't think she has even come close to how strong she can get. She is an excellent pursuing rebounder who always comes up with caroms outside of her area. She has nice length, fluid athleticism, and she even plays with some bounce. She has worked on her face-up game and has great touch in the mid-post, plus if given time can even knock down an open rhythm 3-pointer. Even though I wasn't there Saturday, I heard she had an injury scare, but she was back on the court Sunday morning using her size, strength, and physicality, as usual. For lack of a better term, she is just a bully inside, carving out space, and creating scoring opportunities around the rim. Defensively, she likes to root out opponents and turn them into face-up players. She had a strong Winter and has carried that over into the Spring. She has always been a talented shooter and an effective scorer, but her activity defensively has stood out. She is extremely long and wiry, but she could definitely benefit from added strength. Some of that will come naturally as she finishes growing, but the quicker she can get there, the lower and more consistently she can play. What I do like is that she's very active, she's willing to be physical, and she has good skill facing the basket. I'm not convinced she's a pure wing yet, more of a combo forward, but she flashes that potential. She is a tough-nosed, hard-working, versatile guard prospect. She is best described as a combo guard, because she is still growing as a point guard, but she is also a solid scoring option on the wing. She has a wiry strength to her frame, and she's a solid all-around athlete. She is extremely long, fluidly athletic, and somewhat bouncy. She was really good in the mid-post, she would pursue rebounds, attack the basket off the dribble, and she looked to be able to knock down the 15-footer. As she finishes growing, look for her to get stronger and become a more consistent contributor. I really liked her activity in the mid-post, whether she was knocking down the occasional jumper or attacking the basket, pursuing a rebound, or defending her opponent's forward.
