DCG Summer Shootout: Player Preview – Post Prospects

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>To kick off next week, the DCG Mustangs program will be holding their annual Summer Shootout at 515 Fieldhouse. At this event, over 15 different programs have signed up to compete against one another throughout Monday and Tuesday. Danburg is one of the tallest prospects in the state at 6'2. She rebounds well and she has great touch on the ball near the rim on either side of the hoop. I have a feeling that over the next three years, Danburg is going to put up big numbers if she is motivated enough. She has the natural size and ability, she just needs to stay mentally locked in moving forward. Aagard is someone that has received a lot of interest from the collegiate levels this Spring AAU Season because of her mixture of size and efficiency. She has been proving that she can move really well for her height, she can score in a number of different ways through contact, and she understands the game of basketball in a situational sense. I think that she will eventually end up going D2 to compete following her high school career but that is still up in the air. This Winter, I'm expecting a lot of the same now that they have added on a top prospect like [player_tooltip player_id='582806' first='Trishelle' last='Miller']. Lee is a physical Forward/Center, that is really skilled in the paint. She understands how to dominate her personal matchups at a solid rate and she had that on full display last year. This AAU season Lee has been holding her own at that same rate with her Sanford Sports Academy team out of SD. If she continues on this pace, she will have 5-7 offers this Winter. Gilmore stands at 6'1, she is only a prospect out of the 2027 Class, and she is learning behind a very good Post player in [player_tooltip player_id='582813' first='Ellie' last='Muller']. Next week I'll be excited to see how Gilmore goes out and competes. She is going to get chances little by little this Summer and hopefully she can turn that into more this upcoming Winter. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
