This article continues a closer look that we're taking with Lady Rivals, one of the top AAU programs in the New England region. As we continue to look through their rosters from this past season, we head to the 17U 3SSB roster, one of the most complete, deep rosters we've seen in the area.

[player_tooltip player_id='278567' first='Maysen' last='Hill'] - St. Andrew's (2025)

All-star caliber player and one of the better all-around guards in Rhode Island. Really impressed with Hill's growth as a leader, more than overall skillset. Leads by example as well as leading vocally, which has made her someone who others look up to. When it comes to her play on the floor, Hill can do just about anything, and controls the game tempo well, allowing for her team to take back momentum at any point.

[player_tooltip player_id='269256' first='Colleen' last='Phiri'] - Tilton School (2025)

Versatile piece as a guard/forward, someone that can play just about every position on the court if needed, though her size lends itself more to her being a successful forward. Even with that, she'll post up from three, but her quickness on the court will get her down on the block and toward the glass to fight for rebounds and second-chance opportunities. Like the creativity, but like the tenacity and grit even more with Phiri.

[player_tooltip player_id='296973' first='Olivia' last='VanPatten'] - St. George's (2025)

Van Patten already has her basketball future locked down after committing to Hofstra in late July, and this 6-2 forward uses every bit of her size and reach to be an effective and impressive player on the floor. She's easily made herself into one of the best prospects in Rhode Island, and as we've seen, her height has allowed her to be one of the best shooters in the region, both stationary and on the move, really any opportunity she's got.k

Tyanna Medina - Kimball Union (2025)

Not trying to put one player above another on this team, but Medina's ball-handling skills and dribble-drives are some of the best we've seen from the Class of 2025. It's a split-second move, one that puts the defender on the floor and her wide open for a midrange J or a floater in the lane. So crafty and creative with the ball, a high IQ player that has made her mark defensively just as she's done offensively.

Mackenzie Mori - Hamden Hall (2025)

Mori is another piece on this team locked up for the next four years after Hamden Hall as she committed to Maine in late June. The shooting guard/small forward earned her way to that spot in a big way, whether it be from three-point shooting, which she's continuously excelled at, to spot-up perimeter defense to start a fast break in the other direction. Confident, efficient, productive piece on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='296964' first='Saige' last='Youngberg'] - Worcester Academy (2025)

Do not let size deceive you because Youngberg is as productive a guard as it gets. One major thing that stood out when watching her game is her willingness to pass and her effectiveness in the passing game in general. Very fluid and very entertaining. Quick on the floor and can keep up with any opponent defensively, or outrun anyone offensively. Will shoot the three, but not often. When she does, she's a high-percentage shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id='298194' first='Tatiana' last='Bell'] - Wilbraham & Monson (2025)

One of the cornerstones for this Wilbraham & Monson team coming into next season, Bell is a capable and productive frontcourt piece. She'll feature at the 4 or the 5 depending on the game, but she's proven to be a versatile enough player to where she's able to do that. Great touch around the rim. Great feel for the paint and down low. Controls the boards well and is a fantastic rim protector.

[player_tooltip player_id='278582' first='Olivia' last='Fleming'] - Northfield Mount Hermon (2026)

Fleming is one of a select few rising juniors on this team, but she more than earned her way onto the team as one of the brightest Class of 2026 prospects in the region. She has range for days from deep and excels in just about any situation where she's gotten the ball. Very shifty offensive player with solid ball handling skills. Fleming does a little bit of everything on the floor and more. Truly a superstar talent in the making.

[player_tooltip player_id='998269' first='Fope' last='Ayo'] - Austin Prep (2026)

As the saying goes when talking about bigs and forwards, you can't teach height. Such is the case for [player_tooltip player_id='998269' first='Fope' last='Ayo'], a 6-3 forward who's still figuring her way around the court, but has evolved into a fantastic post player with great upside on both sides of the ball. With her height comes rim protection and shot blocking, two of her strongsuits. We're excited to see where her offensive efficiency and success will take her this season as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='288652' first='Elyse' last='Ngenda'] - New Hampton (2026)

If Ngenda's freshman season was impressive, her sophomore season was at an all-conference level, scoring at-will and providing great defensive work as well as assisting her teammates early and often. She's a key cog, perhaps the most important piece for New Hampton coming up, so if she can continue to grow in the 2-4 spot on the court, that high-level scoring and exceptional play will only continue to grow with her.

[player_tooltip player_id='987607' first='Kate' last='Lipatova'] - Putnam Science Academy (2025)

Lipatova is like many forwards on this team who has utilized her height to her advantage, turning into a multi-dimensional player with great defensive skills as well as offensive capabilities. She brings energy to the floor and most importantly, she provides a steady presence down low that teams just cannot find ways to stop. Well-rounded forward with room to grow as a senior and an exciting season ahead of her indeed.
