Expert Analysis
Evan Bell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Annika is a forward who has excellent footwork, passing instincts, and finishing touch around the basket. She protects the rim, works hard to secure rebounds, and can knock down perimeter jumpers. Annika made her presence felt in the paint at our Michigan State Tournament, earning First Team honors. She followed that up with a strong performance at Ferris State Elite Camp and would be a great addition to The Expo.

Annika, a post player for Rockford, stepped up in a big way at the Ferris Team Camp with several key teammates missing. She made the most of her minutes, battling inside and working tirelessly to establish position in the paint. Rockford’s inside-out style suited her well, and she played her role effectively, helping keep the offense flowing. Annika also brought great energy on the boards, fighting for rebounds on both ends and giving her team extra possessions through sheer effort and hustle.

Annika had a breakout PGH Michigan Tournament with MBA UA Rise 2026. She was a top performer on Saturday and helped her team to a near-victory in the Championship game. Annika proved all weekend that she can shoot the rock from beyond the arc. She poured in three triples in the semifinals with a confident follow-through. Annika battled inside to secure rebounds and protected the rim as a shot blocker in both games. In the finals, Annika won her battle to grab an offensive rebound, then powered up to finish the contested put-back. With her back to the basket, Annika spun suddenly and attacked downhill to score a heavily contested left-handed layup. Annika will be a front-court prospect to watch at the PGH Michigan State Tournament this weekend. She trains hard off the court and that work is paying off this spring with MBA UA Rise 2026. Annika led the squad with 13 points against AR JB LadyBallers. She is productive as a shot blocker and rebounder–I’m excited to see her compete at our event!
